Brown's Shoe Fit Co- Ft Collins

Had a great experience shopping at this store today! Ginny was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She was very patient and understanding while I tried on a lot of different shoes. Will definitely ask for her assistance every time I stop in. Thank you, Ginny!

I have been going to Brown's for years and their approach was always to sell you what you want, not what they have. It is great that shoe stores are still brick and mortar to allow you to try things on before buying. I recently went into Browns to get a VERY popular shoe only to be told by the saleslady that 'they (manufacturer) doesn't make them anymore'. I found that very hard to believe as this was their flagship shoe...the lady assured me they did not make them anymore, which is why Brown's didn't have any. She then pointed me to another shoe that was (not-surprisingly) about 150% of the cost of the shoe I wanted. I went home and looked on the manufacturer's site, and not only did they have them, but were coming out with new models! I then pulled up Brown's website and not only did they have them, but in my size! I feel like an idiot for believing this salesperson, and saddened by the fact that we are to the point where we have to buy everything online

I bought a pair of shoes recently at Browns in Ft. Collins. I had the best experience with the lady who helped me. She said I had 30 days to return the shoes if I changed my mind. I took them home and decided not to keep them. When I went to the return the shoes, the man (who wore a wedding band) at the counter was not nice at all. He tried to grab the box out my hand. I had the receipt in my hand and he ripped it out of my hand. He made the return transaction without speaking to me. He was obviously mad about my return. He was a jerk. I will not return to Browns due to this man's bad behavior. I didn't deserve such bad treatment, I did nothing wrong. I have since learned this man is the OWNER! No doubt, he won't respond and apologize for his atrocious behavior.

My aunt and I went in yesterday. We had a lovely salesman named Scott, he was friendly, informative and extremely helpful. We both bought new Birks ($145 & $160) we both returned them the next day. We were so applaud at the treatment this wonderful salesman received from not only co-workers, but the owner. The owner is an ignorant, rude man (and use the term "man" lightly) He interrupted him several times, telling him he had "other customers." Leaving us feeling insignificant, like our business didn't matter. We both returned our shoes, and bought them elsewhere. We just could not give this person our business. My advice to Scott, would be to move on to a shop that would appreciate a good salesman, because they clearly don't. We will never use this shop again.

I went in today to get comfortable work shoes and Andres greeted me and gave me lots of excellent information and I purchased an amazing pair of Hoka’s for women. I am grateful to Andres for helping me find my perfect pair of shoes !
