My son went for a piece of plexiglass to replace a window pane and it was $5.99. I went back 2 days later for another piece, 1/4" difference, and they told me I had to buy the entire sheet of plexiglass just to have a piece cut. $15. So now I have the rest of the sheet just sitting in my house with no use for it. I think they just make things up. And I'm pretty sure they overcharged me in addition to the random "you have to buy the whole sheet" rule, because all I bought was the plexiglass and a tube of silicone that was priced at $7.99, and I just checked my bank statement and the total was over $27. This is why people shop at Lowe's and Home Depot.
