I received fantastic service from their manager "Champ". Very friendly competent guy who knows the business. When I called for an oil change appointment, he got me scheduled. I arrived 30 minutes early for appointment and he got me right in. With coupon my full synthetic oil change and complimentary tire rotation was under $60. I will likely go see Champ at Big O when I need to replace tires. He gave me several good options while I was there and I appreciate his product knowledge and friendly manner. This store is a huge contrast to a miserable experience I had at Firestone on Keystone Ave.
Went here to get a squeaky noise taking care of. I was told that it was my brake pad hardware and pads. He was so certain that was the issue, so I paid for that to get fixed. Weeks later here I am with the same noise. Went back up there to hear people in the shop swearing that it's not squeaky anymore. Test drove it with one of the guys and what do you know, ITS STILL SQUEAKY. Now they claim its the rotors. I believe they were guessing and wishing for the best. So with the new pads and a ton of grease that they put on it was quiet for about a week. Once that grease wore off the noise came back. I hate spending money on parts that really not needed. It's a so full of clowns who don't know what they are doing. Don't waste your time going here.
Customer service is top notch at this location (you'll see why by the time you get to the end). Recently, they did a complete brake job, new tires, and installed a new battery in May 2023. They did a fantastic job and the price was more than fair.
Fast forward to August 12th, 2023. I went in to get my tires rotated. I had scheduled an 11am appointment online ahead of time. Understandably, they were a little busy since it was a Saturday and pulled my car in to do the rotation at 11:30. I'm thinking no more than 30 minutes to do the job.
After 45 minutes, I knew there might be a problem. That's when I spoke to Joe, who informed me that my lugnuts were swollen (common on Ford Fusions) and all 20 needed to be replaced. Joe said that because of the inconvenience, he would only charge me cost of the lugnuts. No extra labor charges, nothing. Said it would be $30-40. It took quite a bit of time, but his technicians finally got all 20 lugnuts off. This took about an hour or so (by my estimation) to accomplish.
Joe then informed me that he ordered lugnuts from a couple area auto parts stores. Said he had to get "creative" as one store had 3 and the other 17. Regardless, he got them and they would be delivered to the shop at some point. The lugnuts were finally delivered and installed. At this point, I had been there 4 hours waiting. I was patient and understood that things happen.
Shortly before installing the lugnuts, Joe thanked me for my patience and that because I had waited at his store over 4 hours at this point, that the entire job would not cost me ANYTHING! I was floored! How many businesses eat the cost of a job (albeit small) to satisfy and keep customers coming back? I don't know too many. Do you?
In the end, the job was done and I lost an entire afternoon, but despite all of that, I will return to this location in a heartbeat. It's clear that this Big O location truly does care and goes WAY above and beyond for the customer, something that is lacking in this day and age.
Well let’s see…I don’t like to be treated like an idiot first off! When I ask someone to see if they can find a missing piece from my vehicle that they serviced, and then act like they don’t even know what I am talking about, or what it even is…maybe they should not be working on cars!
I did not get the name of the guy working at the front desk, but he was really rude and not helpful. If you think I am being a Karen, then maybe I am if you make me set there for an hour and have no damn idea what the piece I am missing from my car is! Then act like I am interrupting your day by asking you if you found it! Not one “I’m sorry or we can’t find it” or “maybe we can fix this situation!”
I left after asking! I would never recommend or suggest this place! There might be professional people that work there, but out of the 4 I met, I would suggest no.

Very friendly, professional. They had to order out for special grade of oil my car requires and I was still out of there in 30 minutes
