Big O Tires

Thank you! I made appointment online with a quick confirmation. Drop off and pick was easy and in a timely manner. I had new tires, alignment, brake fluid exchange and tie rod replaced. Employees were nice and communication was excellent! The lobby was clean and welcoming.

Lack of communication. Dishonest business practices, and lies. I went in complaining of noises coming from the wheels. I thought maybe it was brakes and told them when I called for the appointment that they should be looked at. I get there and shortly after my car is taken back, they come out to tell me my brakes look fine. Okay, but there’s a sound so there’s something wrong. Look again. A while later it was “We are all done.” Great! What was the problem? Oh, we replaced your brakes and rotors. I’m sorry, excuse me? You never came back to update me and you told me my brakes were fine so why did you replace the brakes? The guy helping me didn’t have an explanation. He simply told me that I asked for them to be replaced. I made them show me my old brakes. It was at 10%, barely used. And, why were they replacing the rotors too?! Certainly they were also fine. I was given a line of explanation by another associate who swooped on to save the guy I was talking to that my brake pads were inferior to the Big O ones and that’s why they were squeaking. I was told that “If the squeaking is bothering you, we fixed it.” Big O was the ones who replaced the brakes before. No, the squeak is not “bothering me”, there’s a problem with my car and it needs to be looked at. I was then blamed for not communicating it over the phone when I called. Which neither of those men took my phone call to schedule the appointment, but what I called and said was “There’s a squeak and grinding noise, it may be brakes, but I need you to look at it.” No inspection was done when I arrived to determine if it was anything other than the brakes. I told them to put the old brakes back on and I was going to leave. This time they did an inspection. Come to find out the wheel hub had bad ball bearings and needed repair. If that had been missed, I was at risk of my tire falling off while driving. Which would ultimately cause a wreck. I have a 5 and a 7 year old that I drive around daily. How terrifyingly dangerous that would have been. And all because no inspection was done. Here’s the thing. I expect you all to be the experts. When you come to me treating me like a target with a wallet I lose all confidence in your expertise. Giving me a line of malarkey about “We fixed the squeak by replacing the brakes if that’s what was bothering you.” I’m sorry, but that’s unacceptable. Unprofessional and dishonest. Not only that, making up those lies could have put me (or someone less educated) in very grave danger. There is no way I can have confidence that if I bring my car in to be repaired your business will be truthful or honest. A customer was lost.

I have been here a couple of times and each time they are ALWAYS so friendly and helpful. I am a senior citizen and they go above and beyond to help me hear and understand what is going on with my car and what is needed. I really appreciate these young men especially Ike who always asks how things are going since I am battling cancer with my dear sister. They are the BEST!!!

This is a great place to do business. Dennis, my advisor ensured he reviewed every option for tires, oil change and everything else we had done to our vehicles. The work was great and we feel safe for winter because of this location. I highly recommend this location. Thank you for being the best!!!!

I have bought 3 tires, from Big O, d I will eventually buy the 4 one there, too. The products are Good, the service(s) is/are good, the combination of All Factors together, makes, Big O Tires, Great. My Kia Optima 2004, is happy; if my car, is happy, I am Happy. Happy 2024, to All. Happy Holidays!!!
