Berk's Shoes & Clothing Store

As a first-time visitor to this shop, I was impressed with what the store had to offer. The clearance sale in select sections of the store added an element of excitement to the shopping, and I was pleased to find two gorgeous heels for my sister-in-law. The store's pricing was budget-friendly, and the variety of shoe options as well as sizes available was impressive. The employees were super sweet & welcoming as well as helpful. I loved their positivity and kindness towards the clientele. Overall, my experience at this shop was positive, and I would highly recommend it to others looking for quality shoes at reasonable prices.

This store has some of the worst customer service I have ever had. There were 4 employees in the store and they were more interested in chatting at the register than being attentive to the 10 or so customers in the shop. To get another size or shoe, I had to walk to the register each time. Each time the employees were Huddle's at the door to the store room chatting and eating. It was about 4:00 on Saturday 8/31. I haven't had good service in this store for a very long time and this experience makes me unlikely to return.

Great selection, helpful staff. One of the only places near me that has such a wide variety of Birkenstock’s with my size! (46/M13!!) Happy to support a local business in these tough times and will keep coming back.

It is impossible to spend money here unless you get help from one of the staff-- and I couldn't get any of the three to pay attention to me long enough to spend the $200 in my purse. To be fair, I had a baby and a 3-year-old with me, so I didn't seem the right demographic. The store displays only the smallest available shoe of each style available; only the attendants know which larger sizes are in stock and then bring them out. Since I couldn't get help, I couldn't find out whether anything in my size was available. Additionally, I am a women's size 10.5 and for most sizes, and they only stock whole--not half-- sizes up to size 10. On a few brands, they also stock size 11. I tried repeatedly to ask for shoes to try on around my target size, but finally gave up when my 3-year-old's attention span wore out 20-30 minutes later. Prices are obviously a bit more than online, but I was willing to pay the extra since I could try them on in store and (theoretically) get assistance from knowledgeable staff. If you happen to be the "correct" demographic, it could be worth a try. Easily accessible by bus, but parking would be problematic for cars.

Great low stress shopping experience. Staff were very helpful with getting sizes and suggesting shoes I might like based on what I was looking at. What I bought wasn't on sale, but looks like you can get a hefty discount if you're not too choosy and they have your size!
