Such a simple action is closing an account and the bank, together with its employees, transformed my experience into one of the worst possible. The first attendant didn't act as she should on the first day I went to the agency to close an account that I knew existed because it was so old. She misguided me in several ways, including harming me regarding the withdrawal that could and should have been made that day. After more than a month I went to another branch, because the first attendant said it could be at any branch on the street and I couldn't withdraw it because I was informed that it would have to be at the account branch. I go back to the first branch and I can't withdraw because the system is still closing my account. In other words, I will have to go again, God knows when, to the branch to try to withdraw an insignificant balance. Bad experience. Everyone involved had very bad taste in trying to solve a problem that they actually created. Banco Itaú never again.

Be careful, they are stealing customers' money. When opening the account, without explanation, a capitalization package of 90 reais per month was added, which should last 60 months. After the amount had already been debited twice, I canceled it. I do not receive back the 180 reais that were debited
