Although there are probably hundreds of English speaking clients, not one person in the bank speaks English. Service is not a word they understand. One lines up to speak to a person at the door. Line up to talk to someone. Line up for the teller and even line up for the ATM. When one has to line up for all three….over a period of two and a half hours…it is a nightmare. I have banked in many different places and this is by far the very worst bank I have dealt with. The staff are not even friendly.

Foreigners, do not use this bank. It charges a large transaction fee (174 pesos) and automatically gives you a horrible exchange rate (markup 7.4%), it doesn’t give the option to decline it. Worse bank in Mexico for foreigners.

One of the few ATMs in the area where you can get 10,000 pesos at a time, albeit with a hefty 80+ peso fee.

The atmosphere is good they treat the customers well they are nice good service
