HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I was opening a business account, 2 hours waiting just to be told I was missing 1 document, I had a pdf on my google drive but they wouldn’t print it out for me, their “Systems” do not allow it. REALLY! Can’t a mega BBVA bank afford a miserable printer so that it’s customers can use to print a minimum documents? And the “executive” representative asked for proof of address, in Mexico it mean an electric or water bill, I had a water bill that serviced my city, he said no that doesn’t work, it has to be the water bill that serves in this area… What? I told him I don’t live in the banks area, the only other matching bill servicing both areas was the electric bill that Services ALL MEXICO, problem now was, now I was missing a 2nd document that needed printing!!! After reading all the other reviews it seems. BBVA in Playa del Carmen located at Centro Maya are not interested in opening business accounts, for that matter any other banking accounts. VISIT OTHER BANK, I recommend Citibanamex for personal check account so far it’s been working for me, I will give CITIBANAMEX a try in the business area and see how it’ll turn out for me.

Worst experience ever, I have my account here for several years and one day while I was in vacation in United States with my family I receive an email from the manager of the branch that my account was been blocked. Then when I arrive from vacations they told me my account was closed without giving me any explanation!!! Horrible bank don’t trust them and don’t waste your time.

Waited over 2 hours. Was there when they opened, first person in, still didn't get seen. Absolute trash branch avoid at all costs

Employees are not friendly and when I went to the window, the teller was making jokes with another employee. They are not professional and you are given a ticket to wait, even for a teller. Like a DMV. They skipped my number and made me get in line again.

Avoid this bank unless you like waiting for hours to get help.
