This review is not for this branch in particular, but for BBVA in general. My only relationship with this entity dates back to an account opened in 1995, which has been inactive for decades, originating from 'Caixa Catalunya'. To my surprise, BBVA resurrected it in August, applying exorbitant commissions and late payment interest.
It took me a month to cancel the account, after sending emails, making calls, visiting branches and filing claims. After updating my account details from 1995 (a time when neither cell phones nor the Internet were common), I began receiving daily calls threatening me with legal proceedings for late payment if I did not regularize the negative account balance. It was absolute hell and absolutely unfair.
I consider this situation to be unfair not only for me, but also for BBVA employees who work in front of the public and who, inevitably, face the wrath of customers affected by these practices.
Terrible attention, 45 minutes late to attend by appointment. And when they attend "we do not open accounts in August", they definitely do not want to work. Online banking, artificial intelligence to replace these useless.
