B's Ace Hardware

Living half mile from this store on State street and a homeowner should be a "customer". Today I purchased an item (see attached pic). When checking out with cash, I did not get a receipt or give my ACE phone number to locate me. When I returned to restock this item, the manager (Gra>>>) did not accept it because I did not have a receipt or a ACE phone number related to this transaction. Therefore, ACE refused to return my cash payment, less than 2 hours before, and the manager (Gra>>>) held to this position. Since I live a half mile away from this ACE store, there is a high chance that I will NEVER buy from this location again. D & B Supply, Capital Lumber, Home Depot and other stores are my choices moving forward. "Customer is right" is not in this B's ACE Hardware process. Craig Chaney Boise Idaho

I went in for a random part for my pressure washer and the associates wouldn’t stop until we found a solution to my problem. Very great experience today.

Stopped in yesterday and today Big remodel happens and they don't even have stock what the heck I hear one of the associates telling a guy that the dishwasher hose is for a gas line so they're clueless also. And I said to the cashier how come there's nothing showing me how much everything is ringing up for and she responds by saying that's why I tell you what the amount is when it's all said and done I'm going to avoid this place till they get their act together maybe I'll revisit them in a few months I went in for a small part of course they didn't have it

They're always super helpful and friendly here! They always ask if I need help finding anything (which I usually do 😅) and they are happy to answer any questions I have.

I always forget about this place. Came in for 1 thing and they had the other stuff I thought I was gonna have to go to a different store for. Awesome
