Alaska Helicopter Tours

Honestly one of the most spectacular Alaskan tours I’ve experienced. The greeting and check-in at the office was simple and easy. The gift shop was well stocked with unique and and fun item from the local area. About 10 minutes after check-in the staff preformed a very in-depth safety briefing specifically for the aircraft we were flying in today, after the meeting we were introduced to our pilot Will. Will greeted everyone with a smile and chatted with all of us as we walked down to the aircraft. He assisted all of us one at a time and made sure we were all comfortable and safely seat belted in. We all put our headsets on and Will made sure we could all properly communicate and we were off. Once airborne Will immediately started telling us about the geological history of the Knik glacier, however he suddenly had to change the subject to point out a black bear on the mountain with also with 4 mountain goats just uphill above the black bear. Will circled on both sides of the wildlife to allow all the passengers enjoy an equal view of the wildlife. After that we flew up to 3 separate landing areas which were all vastly different where we enjoined spectacular views, drinking glacial water, and short hikes along the ice. I would highly recommend the two hour tour as it offers some of the best scenery Alaska has to offer. UNREAL. This experience I will remember for the rest of my life. The helicopter flight to the glacier was amazing and the pilot pointed out wildlife and other scenic things. When we arrived at the glacier we were met with two amazing guides. They were funny, caring, and went above and beyond. They suited us up and gave my friend and I the adventure of a life time. Words truly can’t describe how amazing it was. They took a ton of pictures for us too. The flight back was also amazing and we got to see different things. This company rocks and I will be back!

We had a blast with our pilot Cody exploring glaciers with Alaskan Helicopter Tours. Top notch outfit , safe, new equipment , and breathtaking views . We also spotted moose on the way back from the glacier. The time it took to get to their site from anchorage was 50 min each way, but their driver Theron made the drive seem much shorter sharing stories about the the area. Overall , one of the highlights of our trip. We will book again and highly recommend.

Highly recommend this trip! We took the glacier dog sledding adventure and it was incredible! The helicopter ride out to the glacier was stunning and we saw 2 black bears on the way. Dog sledding high up on a glacier was a once in a lifetime experience! We got to visit with the pups before taking a different route back to the lodge with even more stunning views and saw some goats along the way. Our pilot Bailey and our musher Emily were both super friendly and knowledgeable. Overall wonderful experience!

Had a wonderful experience on our flight. The weather didn’t cooperate, but the team was great with presenting options and didn’t try to pressure us into a decision. We ended up with the Grand Knik tour and man was it awesome. Our Pilot Shad was super cool and did all he could to make the flight smooth and enjoyable. He also made sure to point out the wildlife, and points of interest. Would give him a solid 10/10!
