Ace Hardware of Livermore

I came here for a few items and was impressed with the new store. I'm glad to see a new hardware store in town, as I absolutely can't stand going to Lowes or Home Depot. The staff were super helpful, which is something you rarely see in a big box hardware store. I plan on making this my go-to spot for all of my hardware needs.

Huge selection of everything. Got help finding 'off the wall' items very quickly. BTW they sell awesome pies, frozen to go ! Who'da thunk ??? Very similar and equal to the OSH that was there !

Product warning: The lights require at least 3 hours for each roll of 100 tiny lights, just to untangle. The store helpfully, gives credits to exchange for standard lights they have in stock. Staff very helpful.

Most things are A little pricey! Give 1star due to the fact I was a regular customer here, until I was treated with so much disrespect and rudeness from a very ignorant employee who assumed I was stealing or trying to steal something. Have not returned to this store sense. I've never been treated this poorly by any store employee. I won't drop a name but stay away from an older man with gray hair who acts like a door man.

This is the first time coming in since OSH closed as I have moved out of the area. To me it looked pretty much exactly like the old OSH, but the store was clean and the staff was friendly.
