The quality of the work, (drywall repair, trim install, mirror hanging) was great, top notch really. The communication, scheduling, and timeliness of the pro who came out was also 10/10. However, where they lose a star is pricing model. Its already very expensive to have them come out at $100 an hour - but beyond that you also have to pay them $75 PER VISIT. so if you have a 5 day project you should expect to pay them an extra $375 on top of the base hourly quote just to show up each day. I have a lot of projects around the house i was interested in completing based on the quality of work of the first project but cannot justify this pricing model for more than maybe a one day project.

Needed a handrail installed in order for my home insurance to be renewable. They showed up at the day n time I decided, 10 minutes early. Were clear & concise on expectations, and even came in under the quoted time / budget. Unexpectedly received cedar wood, which is even better than expected. Will have them out again in the spring to repair my deck.

Updated reveiw: I've chosen to upgrade my rating based on the follow up and satisfactory resolution to my original post. ///// Theinstallation of the garbage disposal and the outlet it went to was done incorrectly and the local branch manager refused to send someone out to double check the work insisted that it was done correctly and that the issue was in the wall and only wanted me to call her referral. When ever I tried to explain what I thought might be wrong she would cut me off, and just repeat what the worker wrote in his report. Later that week I discovered another issue my dishwasher would not drain. The issue with the disposal was not electrical the worker did not break the connector on the hot side of the outlet which is what caused the tripping of the breaker. Breaking this connector is required so that the dishwasher can have power and the disposal can be controlled by the switch. Once that was done no further problems with the circuit breaker. The dishwasher was not draining because he did not remove the plug the manufacturer installed for homes without a dishwasher. These corrections took 15 minutes, but In my opinion was something doing this type of work should have known. I suspect that the mistakes were a result of the service person rushing so that he could get to his next assignment. If the local branch manager had been willing to hear what I had to say and consider the possibility that the problem steamed to something they did, the issues could have been resolved without losing the additional work I need done or losing any recommendation. I would like a refund for the work done to install the outlet and for a portion of the disposal install, given that it was not done c

Doug Maxson does amazing work! He's the professional sent to us from Ace Handyman Services. Our cat had decided to use our walls as scratching posts, and Doug repaired the damage. He arrived on time, worked carefully and quickly and explained everything patiently. We were impressed!
