Access Heating & Air Conditioning

DO NOT USE ACCESS HEATING! My 70+ year old parents were without a working furnace for 5+ weeks over Nov/Dec ’23 for a 6-year-old furnace Access installed that was under warranty. The part was “unavailable” and while that may not be their issue, there was virtually no sense of urgency, no measures taken to expedite, keep my parents informed, or alternatives offered. For their safety, my parents spent a fortune on space heaters that they would not run at night or if they were both away from home. Once the part arrived, they were charged TWO THOUSAND dollars for 60 minutes of labor (part was under warranty). Let that sink in! The company didn’t have the courtesy to even install a new filter with the service. Access was beyond horrible, and they appear to have zero regard for their customers. This is on top of them selling my parents this furnace well above market price. Shame on you Access! I will be posting this review everywhere someone looking for service may be reading reviews; the public deserves better and it’s certainly not from Access. FYI - separate e-mail was sent to Access directly regarding this matter; they have not responded. Update: I stand by my review regardless of the owners remarks to imply their service was reasonable and customer friendly. Further, his statement that Access contacted my parents multiple times is a complete lie, it was my parents contacting them for any kind of update. Consumers beware.

We had Access install a Reznor gas unit heater in garage. They did a great job, with a very clean install. They also handled getting a permit and arranging the inspections by the city. I'd definitely recommend the for HVAC work.

This was our first summer in the house and we called Access Heating & Air for an A/C tune up. The technician, Michael F. was friendly, professional and fully explained everything he was going to do. He performed an extensive inspection, complete with 24 photographs and provided a summary of his findings. He pointed out three items that could create a problem in the future but, did not push us to make immediate repairs. We agreed to one (add refrigerant) and left the other two for another time. While Michael was here we also asked him to look at 2 additional issues. The first was a constant noise at the large return vent when the system was running. He quickly diagnosed it as the vent cover design was preventing smooth air flow. He used a crimping tool to slightly open every small section of the vent and there were many (see picture). This immediately stopped the noise. Very impressive. He had an idea what the problem was and was willing to spend extra time to resolve it. Then we discussed our noisy rattling fan unit outside. He determined the unit was not sitting evenly on the foundation and used a shim to stabilize it. Noise gone. Overall a great experience. We highly recommend Access Heating and Air. for your HVAC needs. You won’t be disappointed.

I called you guys on December 15th because my furnance was not working. You placed my order with a technician. After several hours I called and you could not get me a time nor could your technician. I had no heat for 24 hours and temp got down to 48. Luckily I found another company who immediately diagnosed the problem and the part was placed on Tuesday. I will never use you guys again. You left a 70 year old woman with no heat for 24 hours. Shame on your company!

Great service. Jacob came to do maintenence, as part of my program, and was here for a little over an hour. Change a capacitor to keep my 13 year old furnace from being overworked. Nice guy and very thorough. Have had them here before to fix my A/C, and these techs are all very experienced. Recommend them highly.
