Came today to sign up with AT&T after my online order failed, and the gentleman in there was very helpful. We tried a couple times to sign up for service and a phone, but their fraud department wouldn't allow me to do so, even with my license and proof of identity. AT&T corporate gets zero stars for this, but the agent in store was professional and patient throughout the process. I really wanted to go with AT&T, but drove over to Tmobile and signed up without issues. The agent deserves better.
Stephen was the guy that helped me out and he was so much help! He helped me feel like I had options, then was super quick and thorough through the deal. Would definitely recommend this store over most. Thanks again guys. I'll be back for a watch soon.
Used car salesman vibes. I just wanted a new prepaid SIM and was talked into moving to postpaid. I was very clear that I was paying $100 inc tax for 2x prepaid lines and was told by 2 staff that the new bill would be $120 inclusive. I was also told my prepaid balance would be refunded. My first bill came in at nearly $160 and the prepaid team refused to refund me after I decided to switch back to them. I was then told my new prepaid bill would be more so I said I wanted to port elsewhere after this terrible service, but guess what, you can't port until you give them more money to 'reactivate' your number. I'm out ~$300 from this experience. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE.
Dustin is an absolute legend. He helped me find a great Cyber Monday deal and was also able to point out several fantastic breweries around town during setup. 10/10
Upgraded to a newer iphone and the sales guys slipped in extra fees. $10.20/mo for extra insurance and $6/mo for the Up Next phone upgrade plan. Had to call to get the add-ons removed. The ATT phone associate admitted the sales rep was probably trying to pad his numbers.
