Such a beautiful place in the Denver zoo. It's always my favorite place to go to try and find all the little critters camouflage to their environment. Also has an amazing amount of fish and reptiles. The albino alligators are such a cook sight to see.

Probably our favorite location at the zoo. In addition to being warm and humid (in a good way!) It displays beautiful animals like tropical frogs and fish.

It's a lot of fun if you like animals, lots of amazing exhibits. It would be 5 stars if there were more places for Disabled people to sit down near the exhibits so we could see without straining ourselves.

Was great to see when this exhibit first opened. Still a great exhibit with great atmosphere. I really liked the live plants and animals.

To my kids this is the best place to visit! Talk about smiles and happiness during the whole visit♡

Denver Zoo

We have been to the Denver zoo on numerous occasions, but never for the lights. The lights were amazing! It seriously looked like a winter wonderland. Also, the entire zoo is wheelchair friendly. We had a great time and will definitely need to see the lights again next year. We also got the glow package that came with hot chocolate in a fun souvenir cup and the glasses that put stars onto Christmas lights.

Beautiful zoo! My toddler & I had a long layover in Denver on our way to NOLA & we decided to visit the Denver Zoo. It was very clean & well kept. My son's favorite exhibit was the penguins, they have an adorable set up. My favorite were the elephants, I've never seen so many elephants in one zoo.

As recommended by the website, we ordered our tickets online, the tickets were sent to my email. We scanned the tickets & were able to enjoy the zoo quickly. I would definitely go back again! Due to the layover, we only saw maybe half of the Denver Zoo.

This is such a great zoo, we went during a colder day in late November. The inside buildings alone took us a while not to mention many great larger animals as well. As we were leaving they started turning on the lights for a separate event. We had a great time and got some good pictures and videos.

100% recommend! This is a great zoo, lots to see and do, plenty of refreshment options including adult beverages.   Animals appear to be well taken care of. We were really impressed and look forward to going back.  Parking was easy too.

Heart breaking. I haven't been to the Denver Zoo in about 5-7 years, I grew up going to that Zoo. Seeing it yesterday was utterly heartbreaking, it's no longer the Zoo I grew up going too...

There's no more Feline House.. Where the Tigers, Lions, Leopards, and other cats were housed in a beautiful cozy brick building by the entrance

No more Polar Bears, Seals or Wolves! The entire old Northern Shores exhibit is gone! That exhibit used to be the star of the show..

The Hippos, Rhinos and Elephants used to share a building and exhibit (pachyderms) all in one spot, not anymore

No more Bird World..

No more Monkey Island..

No more Cheetahs..

No more Red Pandas...

No more Bears on Bear Mountain! The exhibit that's been housing bears since 1918..

No more peacocks..

I almost had a stroke yesterday seeing the shape the Denver Zoo is in now compared to how it used to be..

The Charm, the Character and the Flow that made the Denver Zoo so spectacular is long gone..

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

This is one of the best zoos we have visited.  The fact that is is built on a mountain was amazing.  We went on 10/8/2023, the weather was great and the animals were active. Their enclosures seemed like their natural habitats.  But even if the animals were not as active, the scenic views are breath taking.  Love how they made look out spots to take the sites in.  I have already recommended this place to other friends and family making a trip to Colorado Springs.  We are from Bryan, Texas and would definitely go again when we make a trip back that way.

My husband and I agreed that this is the best zoo we’ve been to this far. There is active construction on the roads but it doesn’t take away from the fun. Feeding the giraffe’s it is so worth it!!!! You will want to buy a few rounds of lettuce to feed them, $3-5. The penguins were so friendly and up close. Majestic elephants, moose and adorable wallabies!

By far one of the best zoo experiences I have ever had. Lots of animals with clean and open enclosures. The views of Colorado Springs are beautiful as well. Plenty of opportunities to see animals that you may not see at other zoos and see them up close and personal to boot! Great reasonable price for a great experience.

The only downside is there is a lot of uphill traveling to see the exhibits, which was no problem for us, but could be difficult for anyone that may need a wheelchair or to use a stroller.

Visited for the Electric Safari Zoo lights and it was a fantastic time! Lots of animals to see despite it being winter. The Cheyenne Mountain giraffe herd is always a highlight - getting the opportunity to feed them is always great! The lights were beautiful and there was also an amazing drone light show. Overall a great experience.

Incredible zoo experience! The exhibits present in a more natural environment being on the side of the mountain. All the zoo staff we have encountered have been very friendly and knowledgeable. The food court is awesome! Very easy to navigate and great prices for what is offered. The sky ride is a must as long as you're not afraid of heights. The view at the top is absolutely beautiful. The HUGE win associated with this zoo is the ability to feed the giraffes and have that interactive experience. The kiddos absolutely love it and adults do too!

SeaQuest Littleton

I had a wonderful time at SeaQuest Littleton with my family. It was amazing to see and touch so many different animals from all over the world. We fed the stingrays, cuddled with the sloths, and even snorkeled with the sharks! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the exhibits were clean and well-maintained. SeaQuest Littleton is more than just an aquarium, it’s a zoo-like experience that you won’t forget. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves animals and adventure. It’s a great place to visit for all ages. 🐠🐢🐍🦜🦘🦥

We had a lot of fun here. We got there at 1 and the feedings were done. So we didn't get to feed the animals. They put out a limit of food so the animals don't get over feed. They were a little short staffed. But we still had fun. They gave us places online where we could get discount coupons. We could still do the touch a fish area and it was really cool all the different kinds of animals they had. Our whole family had a great time.

We came here for our sons 3rd birthday. It was so much fun. Even my 13 year old enjoyed interacting with the animals. But what made it so much more special was Mermaid Alice. She was so sweet and made the experience magical.  She is AMAZING.

We got free tickets online and decided to try it out. The facility is a little run down but it's nice overall. Most of animals seem to be well cared for.

Major issues were (1) they weren't getting people through the doors quickly. Even considering the fact that you don't want a packed facility, they could have done a far better job at moving people in; we waited for over 2 hours to get our turn. (2) I'm glad we didn't pay for too many food tokens because most of the food dispensers were empty and we couldn't feed most animals if we'd wanted to.

All in all, it's a decent experience it was understaffed at the front and run so poorly that we really only stayed for half an hour or so, mostly because we were so tired of waiting that we wanted to leave.

We just went there last week with my little guy who is 1 year old. We had such a great time and my son was able to interact with a lot of animals that we had seen behind glass before at other zoos. The staff was so friendly and one staff member Kari was so kind and helped my son feel safe when he was afraid interacting with the birds and by the end of the interaction she made him feel brave and proud of himself and excited to gently interact with more animals. They taught my son so much and I couldn't be more grateful that he was able to have such a positive first experience with wild animals!

My only downside that continues to stick out in my mind was that we had a hard time finding any signage for SeaQuest telling us it was inside of the Southwest Mall (which we found out is due to the mall refusing to allow them to advertise outside of the mall which gave me a pretty negative feeling about the mall considering they should be grateful for all the business they get from people coming for the aquarium but I digress.)

Wild Animal Safari - Springfield/Strafford, Missouri

This was one of the coolest things we have ever done especially for our little one. The scenery was beautiful,  the staff super friendly and very knowledgeable about everything. The animals were awesome and having an up close and personal experience was the best thing we have ever had our little one even thanked us for taking him here. I even got locked in the face by an ox!! Lol

Great place to take the family. Would recommend  buying plenty of food. The animals all love being fed, and they know when you have food. Would recommend that if you don't want any damage to your vehicle from horns, slobber, pay $20 to use one of their rental vehicles to drive through the park. The giraffes  gave wonderful photo ops when being fed, too.

The drive through Safari was fun. Kids really enjoyed getting to feed the animals as we went through. The bus driver was knowledgeable. Get information about the animals we were seeing their walkabout s entertaining. The drafts are fun. They come right up and say hi to you. We went as a school activity so I'm not sure what the regular missions are but for what we paid. This was a great experience.

Where do I start? This is our 2nd visit. After the first visit, which was a little slice of heaven. We thought it could not get any better.  We were driven through in a windowless school bus, by I think Santa in the off season!? Feeding and feeding the amazing animals. We left the happiest folks! Bring us to visit 2….we rented their SUV and drove ourselves 😳….BEST DECISION EVER! No worries about our vehicle allowed us to get up close and personal. We took tons of their food and drove real slow. The slober was big time, so bring a towel. But it was the best experience! Brought my 11yr and 15yr old.

A fun experience! If you don’t want to chance getting your car scratched by animals with antlers, please rent a safari car (they offer them for an extra fee) or take the shared bus tour. Lots of animals to see here.

Could not have had a better first-time experience. In the petting zoo, you can't do much petting but I loved seeing all of the baby pigs and the kangaroos so up close. The safari part of the zoo was amazing was so much fun to feed the deer and alpacas. The emus were kind of scary to see up close😂 but other than that we had so much fun here!

Loved everything about this place. Animals and employees seemed to enjoy their job. Plenty of room for animals to roam. Great place to visit for a very affordable price.

We had a wonderful time driving through and feeding the animals. It was a warm day so most of them were in the shade, but it was still nice to see the variety of animals. When we went inside to see the animals, it was pretty awesome. I forgot the gentlemans name, but he had red hair and he was so friendly and answered all my sons curious questions. He told us the animals names and about them. He made the experience even more amazing!!!

Has a very diverse amount of animals!  Fun for the whole family!  Saw quite a number of every animal.  We came around feeding time so most of the animals came up to the car.  Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves animals. Very big self guided tour.
Has a few reptiles inside the gift shop, some birds that you can feed, some hissing cockroaches, and some guinea pigs you can pet.
There are a few animals that you can feed and pet in the back like goats, rabbits, kangaroos, mini horses, pigs etc.
Has a bathroom in the gift shop to wash your hands.
Would definitely recommend coming here with your family.

This was our favorite experience on our honeymoon so far (we’re on day 4 of 6)!! We did the personal RTV tour and I’m so glad we did :) Mike was our tour guide and exceeded our expectations. We met tons of animals way up close; Mike knew exactly where to find them and how to call them over. We also got tons of pictures, many of them thanks to Mike for taking them! We’re blown away and will definitely come back next time we’re in the area. Y’all, if you only do one thing in this area, come here and do the personal RTV tour. Worth the money.

Eureka Springs Safari Park

We went with our toddler on Friday and enjoyed a lot . It was his first safari and he enjoyed a lot. We took the food for the animals and he loved to feed the animals , Office guys refilled our containers when empty without any charges
There are so many animals there and our kiddo loves to feed them .

They have a talking bird also , first we heard someone was saying hey hello , we turned but didn’t saw anyone ..I was a bit scared at that time , again we heard hey hello…then we understand ohh it’s the bird 🦅

The drive thru safari was fun, it was cool having the deer/bison/alpaca etc come right up to your window for food. They had some cool animals inside to look at like a sloth, lemurs, and even a boa constrictor. My wife and I were a bit confused about their ball python set ups, as they had a few housed together and only one hide for them to share. I would like to see better care of the snakes as I am an owner myself. Also, the “petting zoo” was kind of lackluster. There were many exhibits that didn’t have anything in them, grass overgrown and just overall kind of boring. Definitely somewhere I would bring my kids at least once for the drive thru experience.

We had a great time seeing the animals. The emus are definitely professionals at getting the treats 🤣 my youngest who isn't especially fond of touching animals had a fantastic time with the birds and the drive through safari. I don't think anything has ever made him laugh so hard!

This place totally beat our expectations. I’ll be honest, it’s a little worn and needs some updating when you pull up.  We almost turn around and left.    Don’t judge a book by its cover.  We pulled through the gates and laughed and even laughed more.  The animals are use to getting fed so run up to your car when you enter.  Some of their actions are hilarious.  There are so many animals to drive through and view.  The petting zoo area is nice too.  Was a very nice family oriented place.  We highly recommend it and will be back again.

It's nice to see animals like this outdoors! and have fun feeding them! … we loved the birds! who had fun and danced to the rhythm of Latin music ha ha ha. they love the music The merengue ….. I loved the deer…. for 4 people inside a car 🚘 they charge the entrance, around 76 dollars.

Branson's Promised Land Zoo

We liked this Christmas drive through better than the other two there is in Branson.  The main reason are the live animals.   It’s like you’re getting a two for one deal.  A drive through safari and a Christmas light display.  Prices are reasonable especially if you go through Groupon.  And another thing is that it seemed long ( good thing) and you go at your own pace.  Also at the end are some baby bison you can feed and pet.  Recommended!

Such a nice zoo. For us, if you have seen one goat, alpaca, or small deer then you've seen any of them. What I feel sets this place apart is the parakeet feeding area, the encounters, and the talking birds. I think they were parakeets maybe. Really worth a stop and check it out for yourself. The people working their really do seem like they love their jobs and the animals. Not a "sad zoo" at all. All the animals look well cared for.

We’re came here and we practically had the entire place to ourselves. We did the vip + which is a bit expensive but it’s totally worth every penny. We were able to hold the baby kangaroo, tegu lizard, and baby ring tail lemur for a good amount of time. On the tram ride, it was easy to move from one side of the tram to the other to feed the animals. The sloth encounter was definitely one of the highlights. I would recommend this zoo especially the vip + if you got the money to spend. FYI, my visit here was a little while ago but maybe this can help them get more business.

I am truly at a loss for words about my husband and I’s experience at The Promised Land Zoo.  It is a day I will never forget.  We signed up for the ultimate experience.  This allowed us 4 hours full of making memories.  We were able to feed and pet sloths, played with a spider monkey and lemur, held a baby Joey, a guided tour on a RTV where animals come up to you! Yes, I said come up to you.  Animals like llamas, deer, bison, camels, ostriches, emus, donkeys…the list goes on and on.  Our last surprise of the day was feeding HYENAS (of course through a fence and using long handled spoons) but WOW…hyenas!!!!  The zookeepers were incredibly knowledgeable and so patient as we took our time with the animals. I HIGHLY recommend visiting this magical place.  Even if you can’t do the experience we did, there is still a long list of fun things and hands on adventures! You need to add this to your bucket list… you will not be disappointed.

This is a nice little zoo. The walk thru part was fun but some of the animals were a bit far in between so there was a lot of walking. They had animal encounters if you wanted to pay extra for that. We did not but we watched others who did and it looked fun.

The drive thru part I think was the best. The animals get right up in your car and beg for god. They are adorable and super friendly. Plan to spend a good couple of hours there to do both parts.

Branson's Wild World

We had free tickets, so we decided to use them and check the place out. Gives off a low-budget roadside feel right in the door. Hit with an immediate smell of dirty aquarium water. Confirmed the source as so as we started the tour. A lot of aquarium  were in due need of cleaning. A lot of buildup on the glass of nearly every one of them. Outside section saved it from being a complete bust. Great chance to get a closer view of stone animals versus an actual zoo. Wolves, hyenas, a tiger, and even a liger. Several other predatory animals that you can get a closer look at. They offer a chance to feed several of the different animals for a fee. You can tell that the animals are accustomed to it because they run up when you're there and leave fairly quickly when they realize you have no food. Free tickets, so the bar hasn't set super high, but if I had paid $22 normal admission, I would have not been happy with the experience.

Recommended this place during our Branson trip and my group (3 adults) wasn't too interested but agreed to go. Everyone was pleasantly surprised it was a highlight of the trip. Way more animals than we expected and they were very active. It was a great time and I would recommend for all ages!

Absolutely loved coming here! I have visited both locations, and let me tell you I was not disappointed. The range of crocodilians, won me over considering most places in Missouri only have alligators. Fun animal selections and the aquarium portion was a nice change of pace. I love that I can come here and practice my wildlife photography since you’re so close and personal with the animals. Got a chance to meet the owner and you can tell he cares for his animals.

We had a great time! Lots of animals to see and exhibits to walk through. My daughters loved it. We paid $10 outside of our tickets to feed the otters and it was awesome! We had two interactions w inside workers and they were very friendly and helpful- letting us interact with an armadillo and the otters. We paid for the mini golf inside at the end and it had cool aquatic animals on display throughout. We paid $54 for two adults and mini golf, my two year-old was free and we used a birthday pass (found on their website) for our other daughter. Well worth it!!

I was skeptical because of some of the negative reviews but this was a really fantastic mini zoo. The animals were well cared and loved for. Friendly and informative staff who were very engaging. Several of the animals can be pet or fed with handler supervision of course. The glow golf was really cool and included with the price. The one suggestion I would have is to add more information of the species on their name plaque.
