This zoo is amazing! You get to see animals super close up regardless they are roaming outside or getting cozy inside! It’s not massive, you don’t have to walk forever between animals or look forever trying to find out where are they hiding, but all animals look happy, healthy and well cared for! The type of animals they keep here are also quite unique! The decoration of the zoo, educational set up are so interesting too! We only had one hour time to check it out this time, but all 3 of us agree that next time we are in Boise we need to spend a day here!
Not a very big zoo, but also very small places where the animals have to live. I’ve been here this year in October. The people working here are very friendly. Great communication and very friendly.
The animals don’t look very happy, but there are some great animals to see. Most of them were inside, 50% I could not see with my own eyes. They did not have much space. The bear is a $5 fee to feed it and see it.
We were finished with watching in about 1-2 hours.
It’s a new stop for on the road, but I don’t know…
This is a fun zoo. It is on the smaller size. We were able to walk the entire zoo at a slower pace in about two hours. The exhibits themselves are dated, but you can see most of the animals up close. I don't know if it was just bad luck, but it seemed a higher than usual number of animal exhibits were temp closed for one reason or another. Overall, it is a fun trip that you can easily do in a short period of time and get to see some interesting g animals.
Fun time. Plenty of shaded area along the path to help with the heat! Cool kids play area giant giraffe slide and little animal statues to climb. Giraffe feeding was fun! Seemed like a quarter of the animals were either no longer here or just put away. Good value for your buck! Monkeys came in clutch like they always do with a good show! Clean bathrooms and overall clean zoo!
A small but good zoo to watch many animals like bear, tiger, giraffe, wolves, zebra, hornbill, monkeys, foxes, panguins, Sara's, lion, vultures, hyena. It takes 1-2hours to visit.
