I make the trip from Bay View all the way out to WBU because it's such a friendly place and I love being immersed in the birding experience. The staff are knowledgeable and ready to help you take heavy boxes and bags of supplies out to your car. Love the new remodel! And greeted at the door by the dogs who want to play fetch is a bonus. Their seed cylinders are handy for novice birders because they're longlasting and you don't have to keep refilling your feeder all the time. I like the Nutty for Nuts cylinder because it attracts many different kinds of birds to my feeder--I get all the woodpeckers in the neighborhood. I have to buy 8 cylinders to get my birds through the winter, they go through 2 every month, December to March. I like to see all the new products on the market, the different types of feeders, birdhouses, birdbaths, even squirrel and bat houses. Many books, coffee mugs, candles, knick knacks and other items to keep you browsing for an hour. The tv is hooked up to a livestream of birdfeeders elsewhere so you can see what kinds of birds are visiting other parts of the country. Their Facebook page is a great place to share your photos of birds and talk to other people interested in birding, and find out what the trends are in your neck of the woods.

Friendly staff will help with all your questions. Great choice of feed for birds as well as houses, feeders, and hangers. I travel 20 minutes to shop.

Quality products & super helpful staff! I enjoy visiting WBU for fresh feed for the birds visiting my feeders. The staff is always helpful to answer my questions. Plus they're super knowledgeable & offer suggestions to improve my feeder setup so the seed put out fortifies the flocks instead of ending up as waste.

I love this place for my birding needs.. the salespeople are super nice and know their seeds.. I was feeding every day and discussed my guilt complex when I run out of food. The sales gal informed me she suffers from guilt as well but now feeds every couple of days as birds get their sustenance from nature, this is just a bonus for them. They always offer to help me carry out my bags as well which really helps since I recently had surgery.. KUDOS TO EVERYONE WHO WORKS HERE!!!
