Westlake Ace Hardware

I love this location! They have virtually everything your little heart desires. Pet products, micro-tools, holiday themed items, household supplies, face masks, and loads of tools and hardware. Westlake Ace in Westport is one of neatest and well lit hardware stores that I've ever been to. I've always been able to find what I needed. The staff are always eager to help, provide great advice, and check out is drama free and expeditious!

I went in with some very specialized screws needed for headlights and before I could even get to the screw department, a man asks me if he can help me find anything. Let me tell you, every store that does anything customer service facing needs a man like Tyrone. I don’t normally need help finding stuff at a hardware store but he greeted me before I even got to the area asking if he could help me find something. Within 2 minutes, Tyrone had found all the screws I needed. He was clearly knowledgeable, mentioning the screw thread types, pitches and lengths accurately only looking at the screws twice. He saved me half an hour fumbling around in the store looking at screws saying, “No, I know what I’m looking for thanks” by being friendly and inviting. An asset to the company for sure.

This is by far my favorite hardware store in midtown. I was just there with Steven and he went above and beyond to help me get screws for my license plate. He walked out with me to make sure they fit and then installed them. You won’t get that kind of attention and consideration at a big box hardware store. Can’t recommend this store enough, everyone is nice and helpful.

Last time I went in here, there was someone waiting at the entrance asking me if I needed help finding anything. I did (needed AC recharge can), and he led me straight there, unlocked the cabinet, led me up to the register. Took like 3 minutes. Very good service.
