Visiting Angels

Selecting someone as a caregiver can be a long and frustrating experience. I was in need of someone who could ensure the care, safety and overall well-being for a loved one. A family member recommended VISITING ANGELS, not only for a loved one but for me as well, which would allow me some "down-time." I called and met with the local VISITING ANGELS Director to address my concerns. We established a plan that would address my loved one's need in my absence. Not only did the VISITING ANGELS gain my trust and confidence, but they also exceeded my expectations! Their care and services are accomplished with consideration, dignity and the respect for those concerned. The local staff are supportive, caring and always willing to go that "extra-mile" to ensure good customer care and services is provided. I've been with VISITING ANGELS for some time now and feel that having them involved in my life has been a blessing.

Visiting Angels is a wonderful company to work for. The supervisors truly care about the clients and their staff. It is a very down to earth and personable conversation every time you speak to them. They understand that life happens and are willing to work with you and help you if needed. I personally couldn't ask for a better or more caring company to work for! Thank you Visiting Angels for everything you have done for me!

Visiting Angels was a huge blessing for our family. We had caregivers for our dad and they did a wonderful job. We had several caregivers who really became attached to our dad and took great care of him. Our dad wanted to spend his final days at home and there is no way we could have done that without the help of Visiting Angels. Also, the office staff was great and they were always willing to answer our questions and meet our needs.

My brother and I had an excellent experience. We were transporting our mother from Oklahoma to Texas and needed an experienced healthcare provider that was familiar with our mother who has a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s. It was a rather short notice and during the holidays, but Juniper helped us, and Rhonda was great. We appreciate our experience which was professional, competent, and reassuring on a very difficult travel for our mother. This is a very compassionate organization. I highly recommend them.

If I could give this company zero stars I would! Here are a few things you will run into. Their staff is horrible not all but you will see which ones. Let me elaborate on this my aunt had this company and Jennifer (I think that’s her name) couldn’t even return my call to set up a meeting she was always in a meeting or out and the girl that answered couldn’t give much information. Once we finally got my aunt signed on she came up with elaborate lies as to why she didn’t have someone come take of her. So beware of this for your mom, dad, aunt, uncle whoever they aren’t reliable. For example- she had one lady we noticed more then others that we would get a call about and say she was sick at the last minute with no one to come sit with her and then my aunt would ask next time they were there and they would say no I worked with someone else. She should probably inform her staff that she’s lying about why they weren’t where we were told they would be. When I called about this complaint and asked to talk to her I never got a call back. I would speak with someone who claimed to be the Office Manager I believe her name was Natalie or something and she would tell us she would give Jennifer the message to call back and nothing. I’m guessing she doesn’t take criticism well or doesn’t care to hear complaints. Girls came dressed like they just rolled out of bed sweats, yoga pants, sandals you name it they came that way. They are over priced for the things they are supposed to do I had to call and ask what their staff even did because what we told her when Jennifer came out and signed some contract and she asked what we expected the girls to do, it was never done they sit on their phones and text and play games the whole time they were with her. They staff just not show up to shifts and then not have anyone to come in for them. The girls would complain to my aunt about Jennifer and how she treated them and was only worried about herself appearance and then they would quit. Like the other lady said they did have some good girls that would just do but that was maybe 2-4 of the 10-12 we saw. I called and asked for the corporate number to make a complaint I was told “they don’t have one” but someone signs their paychecks. Now we are with another company and highly recommend them to anyone who asks (message me for details). As for Visiting Angels I would recommend for you stay far away and go somewhere else!
