We hired Village Salon and Day Spa to do the hair and makeup for our daughter's wedding. They were fabulous! Crystal did the Bride and Bridal Party's hair and Rachelle did everyone's makeup - they all looked really natural and beautiful. They were super nice and very professional and made sure all the girls were happy with the way they looked. Pam coordinated it all and was really great. They are SO easy to work with and do a beautiful job. I can also highly recommend getting a facial with Megan - it's to die for!
My husband and I had a couples massage here while on vacation and left feeling dissapointed. The two massage therapists were kind and professional and the space was clean; however, both of their techniques were very amateur. I am no stranger to massages, and I know every therapist has a unique style of doing things but this was by far the weirdest massage I have ever received. My therapist seemed to have the most random technique. There was no flow and just random strokes and rubs without any rhythm. The pressure went from being so light (felt like he was just rubbing lotion lightly on my skin) to him pressing EXTREMELY hard on my pressure points which did not feel relaxing. A Swedish massage is supposed to relax you. The chest massage left my chest sore the next day, which has never happened before. It was just ALL over the place. My husband asked his massage therapist to focus on his lower back and he said she spent fifteen minutes rubbing his head gently, with very little time to his back. It was certainly not worth the almost $250 + we spent and sadly we wouldn't recommend or come back.
"AS YOU CAN SEE from the reviews" these people really said that. really because you just bought this place 3 months ago, and your staff is trashy. some girl here ruined my hair because she's ugly and jealous? it's not uncommon. do yourself a favor and go to someone who is professional. everyone who works here is trashy and unprofessional. see for yourself or just go somewhere with a better reputation, this place was bought out 3 months ago.
We had a great couples massage here! The only thing that prevented this review from being a "5" was that it was a chilly day and both the room and beds were pretty cool for those wearing only undies! When we were dressing I saw that there was a heater on my bed (the control was under it on the floor and it was lit), so perhaps it wasn't working, but my hub said his bed was pretty cool as well. So... great experience, just a little chilly :D
I had an appointment with Susan that I made pretty last minute. I was in town just for the day and she was AMAZING. My back and shoulders were super tight and she did not hold back. I left there wishing I could see her for a massage every day. I'd probably become a new person. The whole experience was great and I would go again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Susan!
