Wonderful presentation for the holidays, the shops, shows and entertainment were all on point. Staff, merchants and performers had beautiful tailored attire, which was much appreciated.
The Christmas tour was awesome with plenty of private encounters. We enjoyed the treats, The Grinch and Santa. Harry Potter Castle Display ended our evening perfectly.
The park is full of adventures, shopping, character meetings and delicious food. This made our time enjoyable and we felt special at each new place. Our family enjoys the holidays so all the lights, ornaments and special events made this the perfect destination for us this year.
Highly recommended you will find something for everyone.
Still a great place to visit. In my experience winter and more specifically weekdays towards the days leading up to Christmas have had the lowest pedestrian traffic. With that said wait times were significantly less than summer times with the exception of the most popular rides. Had a great experience. Still wish the staffing within the wait lines were more present. Safe place to take the family.
Had such a great time here more positive than negative points. The best time to visit would be week day non school holidays.
Queue times for the rides were not too bad when we visited. It seems the place has been designed to keep everything cool, and fans and light water is sprayed in the air, making it much more comfortable than Disney.
Negatives are there are not many places to sit down and relax it is go go go all the time which is fine being young and healthy. But some may want to take some breaks which could prove difficult.
There are very minimal food outlets to grab something on the go, I imagine this is intentional to prevent littering, etc. Unless you fancy bakery goods or Starbucks, there's nothing else really unless you want to go for a sit-down meal, which in 30 plus degrees isn't great. Sometimes, you'd prefer a light snack.
I was surprised that the city walk area where all the food outlets were very small and queue time was crazy.
I thought America was all about fast food, but there was absolutely nothing fast or friendly about the service here, which was surprising, really.
But non the less due to it being a quiet period, it was manageable. I dread to see what it's like in a high season.
The best theme parks! It gets busy, so go early and prepare to wait. If it's your vacation, try to get express passes for the rides you want to ride because a 2 hour wait is very common, sometimes longer, for the more popular rides. Spend lots of time taking in the details though, the attention to them is incredible!
I loved it for the most part! We didn’t like doing lines and we went to the lady at the counter to ask for the Express pass (and this is why I only gave 4 stars). She said for ONE day, ONE park and ONE person was $260 + tax. It was crazy! I guess it would’ve been worth it if you could use it for as long as your ticket is, or maybe have a max of 4-5 days, I don’t know. But I bought tickets with the military special offer, which lets me in the parks anytime I want but I was planning on using the Express pass in the three days that I’ll be visiting universal. I think they should lower the prices if it’s just for one day or maybe adding more days to the express pass, so people buy it often. It’s an opinion, and it might not happen because people still waste money on Express passes just to skip lines no matter how much the price is. And I loved Universal but I am not paying +$1k in Express passes. Thank you guys!
