Universal Kempo-Karate School

Stew and Leta Levett (the owners) are outstanding, caring, tremendous instructors and mentors. I have entrusted them with my own children many times. They and their school have been a staple in the Colorado Springs community since 1980. If I could give them 10 Stars, I would gladly do so. They are the best of the best.

Professor Levett has been my instructor for over 7 years. He is an exceptional teacher and mentor. I love our Kempo Ohana here at westside and highly recommend you come check out our westside branch and try out a class. Adults and kids alike, everyone is welcome!

Professor Levett has always taught me something new and not only has taught me self defense, but has also brought me into a family at this school. I appreciate the learning environment and there is never a time where I get bored! Much appreciation to Professor Levett’s hard work and effort.

The Levetts are so kind, caring and warm-hearted and we are so glad we found them for karate for our 8 year old daughter. She looks forward to class and I love that she is learning how to defend herself and enjoying it at the same time. Thank you!
