Timberline Glamping Cheaha

We had a great trip! We took our 6 and 8 year old grandsons camping and hiking at Cheaha. The camping site was just what we needed: welcoming, clean, comfortable. It was so easy to simply show up at our campsite with our food and find that everything else we already set up. And to return after a day of hiking to sleep in a comfortable was awesome. Our grandsons already told us that this is our annual fall camp now!

Cheaha State Park is beautiful. The Timberline tent was fantastic. Comfortable bed, kids enjoyed the bunk beds. Everything was set up nice and neat. Would definitely recommend if you didn’t want to go full cabin, or primitive tent. An excellent middle ground.

My family had a wonderful time staying with Timberline Glamping at Cheaha State Park. The tent and amenities were perfect, and it was so nice returning there after a day of hiking on the nearby trails. The staff was incredibly helpful and replied immediately when we emailed them with a question. Do yourself a favor and pre-order a 12-pack of the Sweet Cinnamon Pecan K-cups. We usually don't drink flavored coffee, but we loved it.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay in #53! Everything was clean and well kept. Bathrooms are not far from the tents. The beds were cozy and warm! We could hear nature outside and waking up in the morning was a peaceful experience. We will be back in the future! FYI, this has nothing to do with Timberline, but there USED to be a restaurant on the mountain but it is closed and only used for events. It shows on the map it’s still there. Plan your food source accordingly, The Mountain Store saved us for dinner planning. It was our first time up there and I didn’t know that until we got there. My mistake!

Had the best time glamping in Cheaha with Timberline! Aimee was there to guide us with any questions we had. The set up was so cute and cozy and the surroundings were a dream. There was lots to do hiking wise around the park and the leaves were at their peak. We will definitely be back for another getaway!
