The UPS Store

Particularly wanted to take the time to write this review as I see the overall rating of this place was a bit low. I live in VA but use UPS nationwide as my shipping partner. I stopped in today to ship two packages out. This place was packed (my only mistake was I had a grocery cart blocking my parking space so I used it to transport the packages - not allowed - though they have a cart in the shop if needed). Though very busy the TWO attendants were efficient (and the vibe was pleasant). Best of all when I got to the attendant and gave my phone number everything popped up as it has nationwide and I was quickly processed. I know each shop is locally owned so I take the time to post a review if the job is well done (or a scathing critique if not). This place is worthy of your business. Indeed, compared to Aspen (package sent earlier this week) there were no steep processing fees for a fully boxed and taped shipment. Hope the owner reads this - keep up the good work.

As I read these reviews, it seems like some of these reviews got the same treatment from the same old white hair lady as me. I didn't know one of my amazon package had to be package since majority of my return amazon didn't ever need packaging. Instead of telling me nicely about it, she had a full on attitude telling me it had to be package or else she wouldn't send it. So I asked if they sold any small bags and again with attitude, she said it was behind me. Mind you, it had only been 1 hour since they opened and she was already having attitude so early in the morning. If only this wasn't the only ups on my way to work then I be going to a different one.

It’s impressive that a place with so many one star reviews and fake apologies from the owner can continue to operate. I’ve been in here many times and agree that the staff goes out of their way to get out of work. With three in the store, I’ve seen one work and the other two talking/eating snacks at the computer. One even held up their finger to shush me when asked if she was open. It’s wild this location can continue to operate in this manner. I’m sorry if you hate processing Amazon returns, but there are many things I hate about my job but still do them without visibly rolling my eyes. The customer service is rude and complained about in MANY reviews, with a very insincere sounding response from the “owner”. I would be embarrassed to be the owner, supervisor, or employee here. Words without actions are useless and a waste of time! And no I do not want an email or phone number, I want some action as you have already heard about the problems here many times.

The staff is amazing. It is often very busy and the staff handles it professionally and efficient. My packages are always handled with care. When I call to see if I have mail, staff always take a look in my box so I don’t make a trip for no reason. It’s convenient for me to receive important mail while based in Denver. The location is now open on Sunday.. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Store needs to 100% hire more staff. There was a line that was 9 deep and the manager, while competent and friendly, moves at a glacial pace and made no attempt to multitask. I had a simple pre-paid scan and had to wait in a 35 min line to drop off.
