The Blind Man

I called the Blind Man several years ago when we decided (Needed) to update our LRs and DR (they weren't a referral, I just liked the name). To say they were great is an understatement. Replacing our once-blah-looking dark wood blinds with Plantation Shutters was the best decision we could have made! Charles, owner of The Blind Man worked patiently with us to get the shutters that would best show off the areas. And they did - the rooms took on a whole new, modern look. We loved the look; they were perfect. Well several months ago, we decided to add Plantation Shutters and modern soft window coverings for the rest of the house. Although the soft window coverings were perfect, but once installed the shutters did not match the earlier ones. I was really upset to say the least, but Again Charles worked with us and before long the Custom Plantation Shutters arrived and matched Perfectly! Great Customer Service! I have to give Kudos also to Ray, the installer who made certain each window covering fit perfectly. He was personable and very professional, keeping us involved in what he was doing. All in all, we are Very Happy with the end result and will not hesitate to look to them for any future window covering needs. The Blind Man's prices are competitive, both times the coverings arrived sooner than expected, and the quality of their products is impressive. Excellent service! Prompt and professional availability. Came to our home, answered all our questions, were patient as we explored options and finally made our selection for top down, bottom up cellular shade blinds. Product was custom made for our windows and delivered/installed more than 1 1/2 weeks before the estimated install date. We have purchased plantation shutters for two of our homes through The Blind Man. They are always quick to come out, very friendly very professional and it doesn’t take too long before your shutters are in. The installer Ray is very friendly and takes care with all the little details like seams and how it fits. The one thing that you can say is there is zero worries using this company I give them five stars on price, professionalism, friendliness, product, and installation. This changed the whole look of our home and we are beyond pleased.

We ordered shutters for our entire house when we built three years ago, 16 shutters total including an atrium door. I have repeatedly received compliments on them and couldn’t have been more pleased with the whole process, from ordering to installation. After one of my shutters was damaged by the window installer (not the Blind Man), they came back out and installed the new ones, again with the upmost professionalism. I am now referring them to my daughter since she’s looking for plantation shutters.
