Target

I'm choosing to edit my review. This time I'll be adding photos. My review will basically be the same. I love going to the store and walking around. My biggest complaint remains the same, self-checkouts. I think if anyone follows me they will find, I'm not a fan of self checkouts. You lose so much of the customer service experience with self checkouts. I know there's a bottom line businesses have to meet but again what's the cost. Some of these are blurry. It's hard to take pictures in a department store without people looking at you kind of funny. There might even be a couple of duplicated photos because I took so many.

Last night while checking out I heard a man chew out a sweet employee because he had to use self-check out. It's astonishing and laughable to see how many people are rude and complain about self-check out and having to do something yourself. Maria, the employee handled the situation with grace and kindness. She did a fantastic job in an uncomfortable and ridiculous situation. Tonight, I met Kylie (spelling?) when returning an item at the last minute. Even when running in right before close, she made my experience wonderful. The staff at this location are remarkable and truly deserve a raise. Let's remember to show kindness and grace this holiday season to employees working in retail and the service industry.

Good store with a lot of different stuff from groceries, clothing to kitchen appliances. You can get good deals on stuff and you can look for coupons online also. Stylish clothes and shoes for adults women, men, teenagers and kids. Store always clean, smells like coffee because it has Starbucks inside with delicious coffee and always carts at the front. Also available pick up option. I came today to store to get free baby welcome kit in the customer service. If you are pregnant just register on target online and get your barcode for free baby welcome kit.

This store is always clean, including the fitting rooms. They try to keep this store well-stocked and if I've ever not been able to find something there, staff has offered to order it and have it sent to me or the store, at no extra charge. SO, WHY 4-STARS INSTEAD OF 5? One evening, a week ago, I ordered an available pick-up item, online that I was needing for a wedding (black dress "A New Day") and the next morning, I unfortunately received an emailed that the item was no longer in stock (which was fine; that happens). However, that day, I went to the store to pick up my other items from the order and decided to look for the black dress myself (the app indicated there was still one left in the store). With very little effort, in the "A New Day" section, I found the dress I had wanted to order (along with 5 other available sizes of that exact dress), so I notified the pick-up desk. It left me feeling that whomever was responsible for finding it, didn't even try. That's the only time I've been disappointed in Target's staff. The upside to ordering this way is that my card is never charged until the items are picked up, so no real hassle. (I'm glad I was already going to be at that location because otherwise, I'd never known the dress I wanted was in stock after all.) Not ideal and made the staff look bad, though.

When I am spending over $100 at Target I would like the luxury and or option of a cashier scanning and bagging my items. It’s ludicrous to have security and Target employees stand and watch you self checkout over 20 items because no registers are open. Brookwood Hoover and 280 always have at least one register open to accommodate their shoppers….
