My experience with order pick up was AWESOME!! I was in and out quickly. My order was correct and exactly what I ordered. The employee that assisted us was incredibly nice. Despite being busy she helped us quickly and was so nice!!
I ran into Target on Dec. 17th to grab a shirt and the lines were EXTREMELY long. Not only were they long, but they were kind of short on cashiers. ( it's the Christmas holidays so I get it) Anyway, I jumped in line. As I'm in my line, I see the line next to me (customer service line) moving steadily while I was waiting patiently for my turn. I get to the front of my line, look over to that line and realized that there was ONE person running TWO registers and moving the line just as steady as if it was two people. I HAD to get out of line, tell her what a great job she was doing and get her name. (Candace B.) Target Jackson, I hope you read this and give Candace B. her flowers because she was WORKING that day all while still greeting her customers with a smile!
This may have been my first ever bad experience with Target, but it’s kind of left a permanent bad taste in my mouth for this company. I placed a drive up order. Every single drive up spot was filled, so I parked in a regular spot and selected “can’t find a spot” in the app. I noticed that nearly EVERY SINGLE DRIVE UP spot was full of empty cars! As I sat there for what seemed like an eternity, I realized that in most cases, people who were waiting for a drive up order had gotten out of their cars, in frustration, and went into the store to retrieve their order themselves. I had already checked in, so I couldn’t get out of the car because I was afraid someone would finally…come out of the store with orders. Additionally, I had packages on my backseat from other stores. So, I called the store REPEATEDLY. NOBODY answered the phone. In the middle of the day, the staff just let the phone ring until the call just disconnected. I was attempting to see if anybody was working drive up orders. After continuing to wait for nearly an hour, it was clear that nobody was working drive up orders, so I attempted to cancel the order. I couldn’t cancel in the app, so I again called the store repeatedly to tell them to cancel the order…but, of course, no one answered. Finally, I drove off and abandoned the order. I was finally able to cancel it once I got home. The store was busy, but not nearly as busy as Walmart…I was able to drive up at Walmart and get my drive up order within 10 minutes.
On a different note, the drive up service has gotten progressively horrible. The two young ladies…it appears that they maybe can’t read or something. It takes them soooooooooooooooooo long to read the information off of the handheld device. The last time I did a drive up order, the young lady looked at the handheld for so long that customers started getting out of their cars to claim their items off of the cart.
The service was very unprofessional and they didn't prepare all of our items for our pickup order there was no professional courtesy or any organizational skills whatsoever

I waited about 10 minutes during peak hours from the time I pulled up so it was a smooth flow. The customer service guy was very polite as well 👍
