Take me Home llc. What a scam? Luckily only I suffered the two hundred dollar lost and not more. But I completed the application and paid there fee. But never received a call or anything from anyone. You will regret this. Stay away

This place was supposed to prevent homelessness but they actually made me Homeless. I am making this review to warn others to stay away from here . I came to take me home llc to help me find an apartment. They charged me 200$ application fee and said I was approved . Then charged me 3125.00. I paid all of the fees. Then on the move in day. No one called me . I drove 4 hours to the office and she owner told me that she was short staffed and and busy. So I asked for a refund . She told me that the 200$ application fee was non refunded and they can process the 3125 for a refund but I must wait 30 days. Nothing was done to my application but they keep my 200$ application fee. And I have to wait 30 days for my refund so I do not have the money to move anywhere else. There were also other angry people outside of the office . There is no way to contact anyone They do not reply to emails and do not answer the phone. They are taking people money and leaving them homeless. I am still waiting on my 3125.00 refund and I have no place to stay. I am devastated and homeless. Seems like I can do something legally about this but they have so much of my money All I could do is sit in front of the building and pray and cry. I have no other place to go . They are offering information to a shelter . But still have my money. I called the police and got a police report. I also called an attorney to help me . I am still waiting for my money. Do not make the same mistake that I did.

Beware of this company as they will deceive you and then after the lease is complete will change what they want on the lease without rewriting the contract. I also find that they, on a regular basis say that what they pay and what you pay, are not followed according to the lease. In my lease, it stated that all that I would have to pay is the rent and my internet bill and then when you pay through the app turbo tenant she will start charging you for what she is to pay for and also make you pay about 4 to 500 more that what the place charges for rent. Stay away as they pocket what ever money that they charge you for that they are to pay. I called them out and then they told me that they are above the law and don't need to follow the legal process to do anything. This place was closed down once before for bad practice and now it is even worse. Stay away if you don't want to feel that they are going to commit fraud and some other illegal activities and pull you with them in their legal issues.

This place is horrible!!!!!! Stay far away ! They charge you 4-500 more than the actual price of rent ! On top of all kinds of program fees that makeup along the way . These folks are scammers! At its finest! They try and threaten you once you get to asking questions about the program on what they can and can’t. I’ve had one beat at my door for about 30 mins because I wouldn’t agree to a bogus lease . That money that supposed to be going towards your unpaid balances lol is a joke they don’t do it ! Either do they help you they going to put you in a worse situation .
