After waiting 11 months for a truck, I dropped it off for the first service appointment today and was told it would be ready at 4 so I made arrangements to be there at 4. At 2:30 I got a message saying the truck would be ready at 6:30. Toyota’s Google Business Prifile says they’re open until 8 and the earliest I could get there via Uber was around 7 so I figured I’d be fine. I messaged them letting them know my estimated arrival was 7:08 and the woman told me I’d have to come back tomorrow because there’s a 7pm cutoff. I asked her why she didn’t explain that in her message when she changed the time and she took an attitude telling me it was my fault because we asked for extra services which delayed things. I sent screenshots showing there were no extra services requested so she apologized for the confusion and assured me I wouldn’t be charged for extra services. Then she stopped replying. I arrived at 7:10 and she was gone. There were other people there who were willing to help but knew nothing about it so they told me I’d have to come back tomorrow. So here I am paying for another Uber : ) great first experience 👎
Worst purchase experience. We specifically put all the paperwork in so that I could get a facturar fiscal and when we picked up the car it was made to a generic RFC. The sales person was super unhelpful and told us if we wanted a factura we had to cancel everything and start the process over and wait another week for the new license plates to arrive.
What should have been a good experience of buying a new car was turned stressful and dramatic.
We we constantly told the manager was unavailable and not given an option on what to do.
Absolutely ridiculous waiting times for most of the inventory Toyota sells in Mexico. Toyota Tundra and Tacoma... at least a year. They want 30% deposit and can't guarantee???
Excellent experience with the service department.
I drove my 2009 Tacoma down to the Puerto Vallarta area in July 2022 and the check engine and traction control light came on after driving up a steep hill in 4 wheel low. The truck also had 200k kms and could use service.
The appointment booking process was excellent by a young woman that spoke excellent English, the intake process was also excellent by Rodrigo who also spoke excellent English and worked really hard to understand the problem and translate it to the mechanic.
The dealership and waiting room was super clean with free gourmet coffees and snacks. The process was on schedule.
I highly recommend this dealership for service.
30'000 km Service done on my 2020 4Runner while on Panamericana trip southbound. Even with a previously booked and confirmed time slot, the check-in process required some queueing. On the other hand, the assessment of the need and the service as such within a few hours was done highly professional and the car returned clean in- and outside for a very reasonable price. Definitly recommended!
