Hazel and the teachers are so Kind and knowledgeable. I appreciate their patience, support and willingness to work with my special needs son! They are extremely thorough with assessments and teaching kids in a way they can understand and thrive!

My son had changed schools and was struggling in math so I researched almost every tutor in Wichita but didn’t feel like any were standing out.. then I came across this sylvan location and had a instant connection to Mrs. Hazel, and the choice was made for me during their assessment. Mrs. Hazel is so kind and so caring, she demonstrated that she truly is invested in helping the kids that are tutored here. I have to mention how receptive and involved my son has been to tutoring, they assessed his current grade level and came up with a game plan that was designed just for him and he has enjoyed every tutoring session. Now here’s the best part… my son received his first A+ on a math test!!! I asked how it made him feel and he said “it made me feel really great, I felt confident and am getting way more fluid in math!” That was one of the best moments for me and for him! I’m so proud of him and so grateful for sylvan!

I gave 3 stars because of the price student who needs alot of help sometimes comes from families that can't afford the help ....but at our first to appts they seemed kind and caring....will leave another updated review when my kids are done to let u know how well it work

Hazel is so very welcoming and made my daughter very relaxed and comfortable with her intake testing. We look forward to working with the team here and seeing my daughter grow in her learning!

Sylvan has done wonders with my son! My son had a very hard Kindergarten year and experience, thus he had lagged behind in his learning as well as confidence to learn. Sylvan's amazing and nurturing staff has not only increased my son's skills, but his confidence and enjoyment for learning has returned. My son's main tutor, Shea, has been the perfect example of what a tutor/educator should be, as well as Tim, the Director of Education. However, ALL, the staff that has interacted with my son has been wonderful. There are flexible options for payment as well as learning. I highly recommend Sylvan for boosting any child's confidence and learning!
