Sylvan Learning of Lawrence

My oldest daughter started with Sylvan in the first grade and is now a senior in high school. She was reading at a preschool level in the middle of first grade. The schools extra help wasn’t touching what she really needed. At semester break we called Jamie and set up an assessment and she started right away. Within a year she had completed her target level and was reading at a third grade level. I can honestly say that without the help of the outstanding director and teachers, my daughter would not be an honor roll student and have the confidence she does today. With that said, 9 years later my youngest daughter started the second grade and was struggling with the same issues. We are currently attending Sylvan today and she loves going there and loves the teachers she has. Sylvan teaches the students in a fashion that works for just them and is targeted to the way they learn. It’s been 7 months and my daughter comes home everyday with more and more confidence in her reading ability. Sylvan may not be for everyone, but it is worth the investment for our children’s academic future.

My son Emilio was really struggling in school, so I decided to put him in sylvan. It was the best decision I could have made for him, within a month I seen improvement. He always looks forward to coming and is eager to learn! He really loves earning his tokens and it pushes him to want to learn more! Jaime is awesome, he very detailed in explaining everything you need to know about the program. I highly recommend sylvan!

My son has been helped in the areas of reading and math. The director, Jamie Webb, does a fantastic job of really seeing the students and identifying areas to help them. You can't get better if you don't know where to start. My son has improved in both reading and math because of Sylvan. Highly recommended.

Sylvan has been great for our family. Our child is growing leaps and bounds in a short period of time. Her confidence is back. Highly recommend Sylvan!
