My daughter's swim skills and confidence has improved so much in the last 8 months. The teachers are very patient with the kids and take notice of strengths and weaknesses and work with them on those weaknesses, but also celebrate accomplishments. We love Swimtastic!
For parents considering enrolling their children in swim lessons, I wish to provide an important advisory. Regrettably, my child was unable to attend due to illness, and, upon engaging with customer service, it was clarified that the institution does not offer makeup classes or provide compensation or credit for missed sessions. It is important to note that financial responsibility remains, even in cases where a doctor's note is furnished for any class absences. I believe it is essential to raise awareness among parents contemplating enrollment in this institution.
We have nothing but positive things to say about Swimtastic. Teachers are patient while pushing the swimmers to improve. My ONLY complaints are:
1. They seem to have a high turnover, but I don’t think that’s a testimony to the company per se, I think that’s just common with the demographic. Most of their instructors are very young, late teens-early twenties.
1. They have Beginner 1,2, & 3, and Intermediate 1,2,&3, but no Advanced classes. My daughters teacher tells us she’s her strongest swimmer and she’s at the Intermediate 3 level. She’s only 9, so not ready to swim in school sports and she’s not ready for competition yet. I just wish they had more for advanced young swimmers.
I absolutely love the generosity provided around the building. All associates of Swimtastic appear to be knowledgeable and friendly. My daughter's swim instructor (Lisa) was wonderful and very personable. I love how she carries herself, and how she appears to genuinely cares about the youth, and how important it is to take swimming lessons as a young child. The very next week, we had arrived for lesson number 2, and my daughter saw Lisa and went straight to her and gave her a hug. Major props to Lisa and the swim instructors at Swimtastic. I definitely recommend!
Very clean facility. Wonderful enthusiastic knowledgeable instructors. Been going 2 years and my daughter loves it there.
Update for 2 years later: I used Swimtastic for my oldest and loved how well they taught her. She now joins the recreational in the summer. It was a no-brainer where I was going to go for Margaret as she loves watching sissy at competitions and practices. Margaret loved her first lesson and was super comfortable with the instructor. I know she'll thrive just like her sister in this environment.
