12/9/23 my girlfriends and I had a Saturday night stay at the campground. We bunked in the Safari cabin and it was perfect! The cabin was decorated so nicely and the bed was super comfy! The layout of the campground is awesome, with plenty of picnic tables and fire pits every which way. Definitely planning a trip back!

We spent a long weekend here late August. Our site was clean and shaded. The owner was on-site and very helpful. It's a quiet campground with easy access to surrounding, more touristy destinations. The New Germany State Park is close, with great hiking trails. The seasonal campers are friendly and helpful, if needed. The only reason for a 4 rating and not 5, is the lack of an on-site dump station. There is one close by at NGS Park. The owner said that a dump station is planned for the near future. I would recommend this campground for a nice, quiet getaway.

Our family of seven stayed in the two adjacent medium cabins which had plenty of room for four guests each, comfy beds, and efficient small heaters. The bathhouse with plenty of hot water and heat is a short walk away. The site has beautiful trees and shade and is an easy 20-30 minute drive to local points of interest. Cell service was spotty and wifi was only available at the bathhouse which promoted family fun and lots of reading and relaxing but we could still check important updates intermittently. I would highly recommend Sleepy Hollow for a cabin or RV stay. The tent sites are walk-in, small, and limited in flat space with no electric or water option. I'm a bit of a lazy tent camper! We'll be back for some of the local events.

"A Serene Retreat at Sleepy Hollow Campground" There's a quiet charm that weaves its way through Sleepy Hollow Campground, a destination we discovered after departing from the equally serene Deep Creek Lake State Park. Despite being easily accessible, Sleepy Hollow gives you a feeling of having stumbled upon a secret sanctuary. The first impression that Sleepy Hollow makes is one of immaculate cleanliness, combined with a sense of spaciousness that amplifies the tranquility of the surroundings. Each campsite here enjoys a generous allotment of space, offering an appreciated contrast to some other private campgrounds that tend towards denser configurations. Much like Deep Creek Lake State Park, Sleepy Hollow cultivates a gentle and relaxing ambiance. However, it exudes its own unique charm and laid-back vibe. It feels as though the campground exists in a bubble of quietude and relaxation, creating a welcoming haven for campers who enjoy peaceful retreats. The standout attribute of Sleepy Hollow is this atmosphere of calm. It invites relaxation, making it a perfect choice for those seeking a gentle camping experience in the heart of nature, yet still enjoying the benefits of well-kept facilities. If you found a place of quiet enjoyment at Deep Creek Lake State Park, Sleepy Hollow Campground will surely strike the same chord with you.

We brought our 21ft trailer for the long weekend. It was easy to pull in, had fire pits and picnic tables. We loved the ability to use the bath house and felt safe sending the kids over solo. It's dog friendly which is a must for us. We will be back soon!
