Silver State RV Park

We will be moving ASAP. The park is not well-maintained, and right now, there is a problem with the water - as in there is no water. *There was some sort of issue with a water leak, and ALL THE WATER IS NOW SHUT OFF. Yes, they shut ALL the water off in the middle of the day, and did not bother to warn, or tell anyone. My wife was in the shower, and had shampoo in her hair! Also, it is loud - people come and go at all hours of the night, and someone here has a dog that won't shut up. No, no, and just NO. ~*~ RESPONSE TO DISHONEST PARK MANAGEMENT : Look at your reviews. You do NOT have good reviews. That says it all. I am a seasoned Google "local guide". I have no reason to lie, but you do. The water in the park was off for most of the day, and we were forced to leave early, as a result. Your park is old, and poorly maintained. *If you, ( person reading these reviews ), look down at the reviews - notice that there is a "manager's rebuttal" on pretty much EVERY single review. There is always some excuse, or "spin" on every negative review. This happened. I am telling the truth. This park has problems. Read what others are saying, and take heed.

Very bad experience. We arrived after a long ride with our 5 kids at 5.05 pm to find out the pool closed at 5pm.. they didn’t mention anything about this on there website, and was the main reason I booked this campground. Sites were dirty, I was not able to clean the picnic table. Same for the pool area. Most of the campers are seasonal employees (I guess). Arriving around 5/6 pm and leaving around 7 am. Nice atmosphere. Washrooms and showers are clean and big. The next morning I told the kids we will go to the pool for a bit before leaving again. The pool would re open at 9 am and we were all ready. But at 9 the pool didn’t open. The lady at the desk told me she didn’t have a key and we had to wait for the maintenance guy. He arrived 40 min later.. (9.40 am). The pool wasn’t cleaned but my kids really wanted to jump in. So we have been swimming for 30 min maybe before we had to hit the road again.. I told the ladies at the front desk that I wasn’t happy at all. It didn’t seem they really cared.. I asked them for a refund: one of them told me she ‘would fix it’ but 2 weeks past and I’m still waiting.. will never come here again!

This place is worse than than previous owner. Raising rent $25 every year. What services do you offer raising it constantly. Those in the mobile area can’t even have access to the pool. Also making it hard for those on a fixed income like Social security.

Stopped by for a quick night of rest after a long day on the road. Pulled right in, got a tent site, they have clean restrooms and showers. Great for the motorcycle camping. Was greeted in the morning, offered a hot cup of coffee, went on our way. Great location.

Stayed here for a year and a half while my husband was on a job. I loved it. The front office lady’s are the nicest.
