Sharkey's Cuts for Kids Birmingham, Al

I left one star only because I had to leave at least one. The first time my little girl came to your place in Birmingham was her first salon visit. I can't remember when the exact date or Provider, but she listened and did a wonderful job. We ask for a thinning as our little girl was & and never cut her hair. She did a thinning and a small trim. My little girl was so happy with it. This time SHAEENA A DID IT. Not only did she not listen she flat out lied. We ask for the same thing a thinning and a tiny trim. I was on an important call with my mom but was sitting right where I could see, I was waiting for her to thin out her hair, but never saw it. When I got off the phone the young assistant was blow drying it. I ask the young girl if she was going thin it she ask SHAEENA if she was and she replied she had done it. I know from the last time I was there they use special scissors for that and she had not thinned her hair. Well, the place was packed, and I had not gotten a good look when we were finished. We paid went out and my little girl was crying she said, I told her she was cutting my hair to short and she would not listen to me! Not only did she not listen, she lied to us, she did a terrible job!!!

Took my 3 girls for their first visit today. Booked online; Very easy process. We had hair cuts & ear piercings scheduled. The ladies were all very prompt to get my girls started for their scheduled appointments. Everyone was so helpful & kind. My kids stayed entertained the entire time. She completed washes, cuts, & braids on 2 of my girls & she was FABULOUS. Literally can not thank her enough. Kayla did the ear piercings & she was so sentimental, gentle, & precise. Loved it. Jo did my other girls haircut & though hers was a simple interaction she was nice as well. The 2 receptionist/assistants were so sweet & did a great job keeping the girls occupied while they were in between services since I was brave enough to take 3 kids alone. You ladies made a difference today. :)

Jessica is the best stylist ever! My sweet boy is special needs and nonverbal. Hair cuts can be very difficult for us but Jessica went above and beyond with her patience and loving kindness! Thank you so much for the best hair cut and best experience we’ve ever had!

We went to their free hair care class to learn new hairstyles for my girls! Everyone was so friendly and helpful and I learned a lot. The girls got their nails painted and got free dipping dots! And we got a coupon to come back for free haircuts! Great experience!

This place is AMAZING!!!!!!!!! Along with a GORGEOUS haircut, my daughter got her nails done for free, and they gave her a balloon and a ring! Our stylist, Kayla, was SO sweet to my daughter and took so much good care of her! I am so happy to have such an amazing place like this nearby! A++++++++
