Great program. The instructors are excellent and show genuine interest in the musical development of their students. Watching the musical development of our kids over the years has been incredible. It is also interesting to see these students embrace the many genre's of music played here (which predate the parents). SoR Downingtown is more than just a music school. It also offers a community for students and families driven by a common passion for music.

Love everything about Downingtown’s School of Rock!!! Over the past 6 years, my child has benefited from their amazing programming. Even more powerful, though, is knowing he’s learning and exploring his passions with talented and caring teachers, show directors, and staff. I am blow away by the talent and professionalism of each of my child’s shows (aka concert/recital). I highly recommend to anyone looking to learn a rock instrument!

We have had the best experience at school of rock in Downingtown. Our son has learned to play guitar, takes singing lessons and is having fun playing music! Contemporary music, which is so helpful to keeping them interested! We would highly recommend this program. Best around, for sure!

My daughter really enjoys the private lesson and group bands. It's fun for all the students! Securing a time slot that works with our schedule seems to be a challenge. Looking forward to the shows! I would recommend The School of Rock!

I can't say enough good things about School of Rock Downingtown! My kids have been attending lessons and participating in shows here since 2015. Not only have they learned to play music on many instruments, but they have acquired confidence to stand up in front of a crowd and practice their craft. They have learned the importance of timing, stage presence, and collaboration, they have learned music theory, and they have learned how to be stage-ready at moment's notice. School of Rock is a place kids go to learn music, but also a place where they develop confidence, feel safe, and develop lifelong friendships. School of Rock is not just a place for music lessons, though. Most kids opt to join the performance program in which they are assigned show songs and end up playing the songs in a band with other kids who are playing on different instruments. This teaches them so much more than just a solo recital would, and the concerts are super fun for parents as well! Kids who are talented and practice hard can also audition for the "Houseband" that plays music at fairs, venues, and events in the area. The highest level at School of Rock is "All-Stars" which is selective, but includes rehearsals and performances with kids from other School of Rock venues across the continent! I highly recommend this program!
