School of Rock

My wife and I are very pleased with School of Rock. They have programs for all three of my children, one of which is only 7 years old. School of Rock does a great job and teach modern as well as more classical rock music. It's fun talking to my kids and them getting excited about music that I grew up listening to in the '90s! Price is fairly reasonable for a little over 2 hours (across two sessions) of instruction time per week, 45 minutes of which is a private lesson on their specific instrument. The remainder of the time is band practice where the kids are placed with other kids about their same age and skill range where they perform the songs just like in the movie. We just got notified today about the first performance the kids will be in and we are super excited to see their progress! This seems to be a great introduction into the world of being a musician and really seems to get the kids started off right. I do highly recommend the School of Rock and hope to see some of you there!

I love school of rock for my 12 year old. He’s never played before and so far he loves it! He has so much fun at his lessons/rehearsals. The staff and instructors are all super awesome with the kids. I’m so glad I found school of rock. Especially now with the quarantine going on, we are still doing lessons remotely with his instructors and it’s pretty cool! My son enjoys it as well. Thanks so much to the staff there for making it tons of fun and being so amazing with the kids! Y’all are the best!!

My daughter absolutely loves this school! She has a blast playing "with the band". Couldn't believe how fast she learned so many songs on guitar. She now wants to learn all the instruments. Staff is super friendly, fun, and engaging. I signed my younger daughter up for piano as well! Highly recommend Otay Ranch School of Rock!

My 10-year old has been taking drum lessons at SOR, Otay Ranch for two months and is LOVING it! His instructors Brian and Isaac are both very knowledgeable and teach in a very clear and engaging way. The other instructors are just as awesome— it shows that they truly love what they do! The entire staff is also very welcoming and accommodating. Remote lessons available! Highly recommend!!

I received an invitation to the Grand Opening last month that showcased the accomplishments of several other School of Rock locations’ students. A marathon of performances by the most talented, inspired and inspirational young people jamming the greatest hits of Rock and Roll legendry! Songs by Rush, Led Zepplin, Black Crowes, & Queen.
