School of Rock

We attended School of Rock for two years and it was a great way for my daughter to get into music in a fun albeit expensive environment. This last season her instructor left mid way through and it was frustrating watching them perform worse and worse without a teacher helping them practice. If you get lucky with good reliable instructor then you can expect a good experience with the private lessons. Rock 101 is very hit or miss, and seemed much less worthwhile every season we attended and the ticketed end-of-season show has been less and less organized.

My husband and I were so excited to hear that this franchise was coming to Edmond a few years ago. We signed our son up for drum lessons, basically as soon as they opened their doors. He has been there since and has grown so much as a musician and as a person! He takes part in the performance group rehearsals in addition to being in the house band. I think the performance rehearsals are so important because it allows the kids to get together in small groups and jam out! After all that’s what rock is about right? They get to play at really cool venues for end of season shows too. The instructors at this location are amazing and really care about the kids. They are also working musicians that can help them with real life plans for the future. Over the last year they have really revamped their program and have new staff and a new director. Janna is so organized and amazing and Mike truly cares about these kids and their talents. I highly recommend this school for any child interested in music!

My daughter loves School of Rock Edmond! She takes multiple instrument lessons and her instructors have all been great! The best thing this school has is the group rehearsals!

School of Rock Edmond has made a star out of my granddaughter, who just turned 13 in September. Taking voice and guitar lessons, along with so many opportunities to be on stage in front of a live audience has built her confidence in every aspect of her life!

Love this place and everyone here. They make you feel right at home from thr very beginning ♡ my kids all love their teachers and I feel like they are truly getting something out of their classes♡ the teachers are great at communicating with the kids and myself. School of Rock Rocks♡
