Ryan Smith and this realty office is the absolute WORST I have ever dealt with. He acts as if he’s better than thou. He will not return calls, emails or texts. He makes promises that never happen. And when the deal on a home fell thru they held onto my escrow check for 2-3 weeks until he was ready to follow thru with the paperwork. I wish him the same torture I went thru and will tell everyone I know not to use this realtor or realty in the future!
Ryan Smith is not an honorable person. He speaks of his reputation and relationships yet demonstrates a disingenuous approach to commitments he makes and lack of communication. I wish that Ryan would have been honest with me, as a partner in a lease, instead he obfuscating his responsibilities. I will never do business with him.
Ryan Smith is extremely unreliable. He is hard to get ahold of, does not follow through and has been the root cause of deals being delayed. Would not recommend, if I could give 0 stars I would.
Was shown a rental property in Summit IL by Ralph Havey. When questioned about why multiple tenants ended their lease after only a year he got rude, condescending and defensive. We just wanted to know why multiple people were leaving such a beautiful condo unit after only a year. He was arrogant, bragging about all of the high quality applicants the property already has. Being in real estate you should be able to handle common reasonable inquiries about a property without taking it personally. Did not appreciate the way that he spoke to my mother at all. Would not recommend unless you’d prefer dealing with snobs.
Awful people. Scam artists. Greedy. Judgemental. Lost a really good customer with way more to offer than meets the eye. I worked with Allison McCarthy and Connie Tomlison as co-listing agents on a property. My husband and I went into an open house and immediately fell in love. We offered a more than fair price and gave into all of the sellers demands. The seller verbally accepted and we signed the contract within a few hours. This is when the games began. Forgetting to mentions higher escrow amount...which we agreed to. Needing a sooner closing date...which we accommodated. Radio silence for almost a whole day. Which was ended with an email that said the seller chose to go with the second offer that came in. No opportunity to counter and no real communication. These people work for themselves not the customer.
