Mike was there every step of the way, he made us feel important , took care of all our needs, and never let us down. When it came to selling our house Mike had it sold in 36 hours, he gave us valuable tips on what we needed to do to get the house sold, and kept us on track. He also made buying a breeze too, he showed us extreme patience while we wanted to look at everything under the sun. And eventually he found us the home of our dreams, and he made buying that a cinch also. We would highly recommend Mike for any of your real estate needs.

Working with Mike last year to buy my home was a very positive experience. I came to him in a bit of a time crunch and he made time to help me get my home as quickly as possible. I appreciated his knowledge of the area and the industry in guiding me to the right neighborhood and home for me. He is very easy to get along with. I would definitely recommend him to anyone I know who is looking to buy a home.

Mike McGee with Remax was our selling agent on our recently sale. Did not tell us he would be out of state for our closing until the night before. Did not communicate well in the days leading up to closing. He had no one there to represent us at closing with him being unavailable, which the buyers agent and title company were extremely uneasy with. We had to negotiate an additional fee with the buyers agent on the day of closing ourselves as a result of this, which I don't believe we would have had to pay them in cash day of if someone had been there to represent us. We also had to communicate with the buyers agent prior to closing in regards to a final walkthrough ourselves which NEVER should have happened. Due to a lack of communication from Mike in regards to the final walkthrough, we had no idea the expectation was to be completely moved out for the buyers walkthrough which upset us, their agent, and them as they showed up at the scheduled time and we were packing a truck and still living in the house. As a result, we got rushed out of the house for their walkthrough an hour before closing and had the aforementioned fees we had to pay the buyers in cash on the day of closing. All-in-all, I absolutely would not recommend Mike. He was our buyers agent 2 years ago and was fine, but this time he seriously disappointed us.

Myself and my husband used Mike Mcgee to list our house in Springfield IL! Mike was such A wonderful man to work with he never questioned us on the things we wanted when it came to selling our house he was always answering his phone no matter what time it was! He had our house sold in less then 30 days! We had our dream home picked out and had a contract on it and we told him we need our house sold by this date and by golly he did it!! Mike really knocked it out of the park when it came to not only buying our new home, but also selling our old one! In 2016 we were at the end of a 2 year hunt for the perfect house, which would get us to move from our existing house that we had been in for 18 years. We found a house on Stockton Dr. on Zillow and sent an email requesting more information. Within a couple of minutes Mike called and we talked for a bit and then scheduled an appointment in a few days to see the house. A few days later, Mike called and said that he wasn't going to be able to show us the house because it had sold the night before. We were a little crushed, to say the least, and decided that moving just wasn't in our future, so we decided to stop looking for a new house and went about or business. Fast forward to a month later and we got a phone call from Mike letting us know that the house on Stockton Dr. was available again (because the initial deal fell through with the buyer) and he wanted to know if we were still interested. We agreed to see it the next night, not expecting anything, and walked in and knew we were in our new home! We made an offer and signed the papers 2 days later! Had Mike not have had the initiative to call us back to see if we were still interested (either in that house or another) we would not be in our new home today (that we absolutely love!) The whole buying experience was very smooth and Mike did an excellent job at keeping the ball moving. We moved in to our new house in December of 2016. The story continues.....we still had to sell our old house! In February 2017, we met Mike at our old house and he gave it a look over and gave us some very valuable suggestions on what he thought we needed to do in order to get our old house sold. We took his advice and had an inspection done, had carpets cleaned, painted rooms, update some electrical outlets, etc. (Mike’s past experience as a home contractor is a definite plus!) Also, during this time Mike moved from the Real Estate Group to Keller-Williams. While we were working on getting the house ready to be put on the market, Mike brought a couple of people over to the house that he thought might be interested, and boy we sure were glad he did. When we signed the papers to list the house, we were also presented with an offer. Our old house was listed and sold on the same day, practically within a few minutes of each other. Working with Mike and his partner Kathy Garst at Keller-Williams, we got our old house sold and the selling process was also smooth and easy! Mike is very good at what he does, as he not only has a passion for real estate, but also with finding you the right home! His input, suggestions, honesty, integrity and building knowledge is invaluable! We can’t say enough great things about Mike! If we ever need to buy or sell a house in the future, we would hope to be able to work with Mike again!
