We worked with Mike Hensinger who served as our landlord for a rental in Bloomington. He was unprofessional and unresponsive, consistently cashing our rent checks three weeks late and failing to follow through on multiple maintenance requests. Halfway through our 12 month lease, he sold our rental house without notice. Once the new landlords took over, he failed to submit our information to them or give their information to us, leaving us clueless about who to contact and how. We’ve honestly never had such a poor landlord. We hope REMAX will take this into consideration before giving Mike future clients.

Ms Jin was serving the interest of a potential buyer on my real estate property. While the property was under contract but not completed, ms Jin and representatives on her behalf, reached out to my tenant, unbeknownst to me, and verbally agreed to allow them out of their lease. This created a large issue; deal was delayed as a result and Ms Jin cost me a couple of weeks lost rent. As a buyer of investment properties, I nor my agent or anyone on our behalf, has ever reached out to contact a tenant key alone get involved in contractual agreements between them and the current owner. I do believe this is not only unethical and unprofessional, but I believe she’s outside of her legal authority.

Scott Newland goes above and beyond for his customers. If he doesn't know the answer to something he'll find out. He won't pass you off to someone once he has you as a customer. He follows through with the purchase or selling of a home from the beginning to the end and afterwards. He is always available. I highly recommend using Scott for buying or selling of a home.
