Perro Surfero Hotel

Stayed at Perro for 6 nights with my large family group (10 adults and two young children). Wonderful time... simple but creative and clean rooms. Eclectic architecture; upstairs workspace and open air kitchen are so useful! Mao and staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. Easy drive to town, Esquina down the block is a treasure for breakfast and lunch. I noticed several single women travelers staying; it's great if you are alone or with a group!

Perro Surfero is a great value hotel. For what you pay, the rooms, service and location are a great deal. Everyone's very friendly, including the guests. It's not on a scenic street but once you enter the hotel grounds you're immediately transported into a chill welcoming environment. Highly recommended for travellers on a bit of a budget and/or who need to get some work done. Wifi signal and speed is good throughout. Rooms are simple but ample in size (I had room 9), with a nice private balcony and good light. My only negative comment would be the pool - more like a plunge pool. But better than nothing. And the price was very reasonable.

Perry Surfero is definitely a hidden gem just a short walk from the main streets of Todos Santos. I recently spent 15 nights there and wished I could have stayed longer but I will return again, soon! Mao is the best host, full of knowledge on all the best things to see and do but more importantly, he has created a very unique environment at his 9 room boutique hotel. Rooms are quite minimal (and no TV) but have everything one could possibly need. The communal kitchen is the ideal place for not only preparing your own meals but having the opportunity to meet other guests from various parts of the world. Lastly - the ice bath! Mao and his friend Jorge were my coach/cheerleader and I was able to accomplish something way outside my comfort level. Such a unique property, I cannot recommend it enough.

I stayed at the Perro Surfero in tandem with the Todos Santos Writer's Workshop, and it was the perfect setup/location. My second-story room was clean, had a spectacular view (corner room, number 9), and perfect for my needs. It's small-town Mexico, so expect some noise (dogs/roosters & the hotel playlist if music is on!) but other than that, the vibe is peaceful. The kitchen is a nice perk. Take in the sun, the surf, the food, etc. that Todos Santos has to offer, as well as all the activities that the staff at Perro Surfero can help arrange. I loved this location outside the city center but an easy walk (a mile maybe?) if you choose to go in. Carla, Alex and Mao were all wonderful staff/hosts. I plan to return...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Perro Surfero. The establishment is not only stunning but also consistently spotless. My room was incredibly spacious, providing ample room for work, and the reliable internet made it an ideal co-working space. Additionally, Perro Surfero boasts a spacious communal kitchen with large fridges, perfect for shared use. The common chill-out spaces provide a relaxed atmosphere, enhancing the overall communal experience. The amenities, including a gym, pool, and charming terraces for sunset viewing, added to the overall experience. The frequent ice baths were so much fun to experience. The staff; Carla, Alexandra and the owner Maurizio, were welcoming, attentive, and infused the stay with a delightful sense of care and fun. It is located at a short walking distance from the centre and few minutes down the road there is a beautiful path in nature that takes you to the beach. I loved my sunset walks :) I highly recommend this exceptional place.
