Once Upon A Child St. Louis Park

I really wish there was no stars because that’s what I’d give this establishment. I brought all my baby girls clothes she didn’t even wear , very expensive items alone! Varying to Baby gap, Carters, H&M items and a car seat to donate. I go around 2pm and drop the clothes off and they said I’ll get a text in about an hour or more. As you know every OUAC store has to text you when your items are accounted for and I didn’t get a text so I call the store at around 7, I tell her my information and a girl picks up the phone and says “your clothes have been done” in a very impolite voice. I say “I didn’t get a text, well I’m on the way” she hangs up. I go in and I tell another woman (who i “haven’t” talked to) my information and she instantly tries to offer me $10 (tells me the car seat is “obviously” used in a sarcastic tone) so I ask to see what they are taking , she ignores my question and continues to push $10 on me. She did not give me a chance to review my items whatsoever and progressively got ruder about it. My baby & boyfriend are in the car so I go outside and ask my boyfriend to get the car seat, my boyfriend goes in, asks about the order and the story changes. They show my boyfriend the clothes and it’s all her expensive clothes and shoes for $10.35. They claimed I get 1/3 of the sale price at the store, when one of my child’s sweaters is $30 alone. They then say that we can LOOK at my baby’s clothes but CANNOT take them. I was very upset at this since I couldn’t even review my order. She dismissed my boyfriend and walked away answering a phone call and began talking in Spanish, we left the money on the table and took my baby’s items. The cashier is very rude , and snarky. please take your money elsewhere. -10/10 first experience at SLP Once Upon A Child.

Loved the staff. Very friendly, attentive and full of information. Loved how much stuff they had as it gave lots of options. LOTS of high end deals. I’ll be back :)

They had me wait 3 / hours for the manager to show up. Only to get $4 ... When the manager could told the staff workers no clothes under 18 months .. I could took my clothes else where if they just communicated

They have a new way of accepting clothes/items which I really find very easy. They have gone to a texting. I don’t go there often, but it seems far more organized!

I hope i can give negative stars cos it doesnt even deserve one star. Staff are very very rude, it feels like we’re a nuisance and they can’t be bothered at all. Also feels like the employees don’t even do their job at all!! I am so angry, if you plan on selling your items there, it’s honestly better to just give it away for donation. It’s such a waste of time and they are very very DISRESPECTFUL! For a baby store it’s not baby-friendly. I hope they just close. We are not suppose to feel disrespected just going to a baby store. Being a parent is hard enough and we don’t deserve being treated this way.
