North Idaho Rock School

The staff at the rock school have been super friendly and nice. They gave a great little tour and took time with us to explain how they run things when we were thinking about taking lessons. The ability to play a musical instrument is an important skill I really wanted my kids to develop... So far they have really enjoyed the lessons. The pace has been perfect and they have been motivated to actually practice on their own. No nagging! :)

UPDATED: An epic experience was indeed had. And let me just say, this music school does do everything exceptionally well - and that includes extending unfathomable generosities when things don’t go as intended. I have been set up with Tyler as a vocal coach and immediately upon walking in everything simply went phenomenal. This had been my first lesson ever in my life - and I’m thankful I chose to apply lessons to the voice, and I’m thankful to have Tyler as an instructor. He was able to dial things in rapidly and give me context for growth and understanding. And I already feel like I’ve gained so much. And a huge thank you to Jacob for extending this offer. I’ll happily continue coming to lessons such as these.

It’s never too late to pursue something you have always wanted to do. Well we’ll say I am on the other side of 50… Mine is voice lessons. NI Rock School provides the opportunity for many youth in our community to develop skills and the love for music. But is also provides and amazing atmosphere for adults of all ages as well. I leave my voice lessons feeling energized, enthused and encouraged. This is a fun experience and I invite adults of all ages to give it a try, you will never regret it!

What a wonderful experience my 4 year old and I had today at the music class. The teacher was absolutely amazing with the kiddos, kept them so engaged, moving, learning and laughing! She was so fun, patient and kind. So glad we had the opportunity to come to a class today and can't say enough good things! My son can't wait for the next one!

I can’t say enough good things about Jacob and his team at North Idaho rock school. They have a passion for music and for kids. They are determined to make a difference in our community and it has been amazing watching the school grow in the 6 months we have been a part of it. Elijah is so patient and has made learning piano such a fun experience for my daughter.
