North Conway Moose Safari Moose Tour

We saw 6 moose on our tour, possibly seven. (#7 was a calf of some debate.) Elwyn knows where to look, and having a bus full of eyes looking helps too! The bus is comfortable and he's got some good rest stop planned out. Bring a camera or a phone that takes good night shots- but don't forget to put the gadget down and enjoy with your own eyes!

We had a GREAT night on the Moose Safari, and highly recommend experiencing the adventure! The bus ride was comfortable/safe and the driver was very knowledgeable and knew where to observe the moose. We had 3 sightings that night - so exciting! Also, the DVD videos played during the drive were extremely interesting, with great photography of moose and NH black bears. I’m happy to share my experience with this North Conway moose tour. We originally went on a night when no moose showed up. At the end of the night you could tell the driver was disappointed. He announced that everyone had an invitation to go another night free of charge, not just this year but through July of 2024. That was unexpected. So it happened we had the next night available and called in and was told “yep be at the train station at 8pm”. Well the night started like the night before, no moose. Oh no…. It’s good that over 2 hours of DVDs played because at at least you see tons of moose on the TV. Then finally we saw a bull moose take to the woods. Moose seen!! Well a moose butt with big antlers seen anyhow. But the night was not over. The best was yet to happen because the night ended with seeing and taking photos of this moose and her calf. They were so close. It was awesome! So thank you this North Conway moose tour for allowing us to go again at no charge and making the experience a great memory. We can finally say we’ve seen moose. Just completed my first moose tour ever and YES we saw moose!!!. One even came super close to the bus. The tour was an adventure, we drove all over the place. Saw many great views and even the waterfall as well as other animals. Driver and all of his videos were very informative as well. Learned a lot of new things on this trip. Driver clearly is passionate about his tour and his passengers. Would definitely go again! Thank you for the experience
