Stayed at the View Campground in one of the cabins in Monument Valley. Worth it for the amazing sunrise. The drive around the valley was fantastic. I would definitely recommend four wheel drive and decent clearance. We saw some couples in small cars on the rocky sections really struggle.
Beautiful and majestic place with good roads. The scenic route is worth it with many great views! You pay 9 dollars per person at the entrance and that’s it! They give you a useful map. Overall very worth it!

I considered Monument Valley to be a “must see” on our road trip. We stayed in one of the cabins on-site so we could see the sunrise. I was not at all disappointed. We had a Navajo guide for our tour; he gave a lot of insight to Native inhabitants and lifestyle.
The place is definitely worth visiting! You pay $15 for vehicle and have a chance to see all these breathtaking rock forms by driving to them. There are several stops on the route for admiring the views and taking photos. I would suggest spending here 2-3 hours.
