Honestly this place has done us wrong in so many ways. We've gone through 2 vans already and now we have a loaner van while ours is hopefully being fixed again but the thing is the main guy never calls back, and nothing seems to get done..
Josh is so extremely helpful and has made everything so easy for me! When I was new to the area, I couldn’t find any spot who would do a state inspection on my modified van. When I called MobilityWorks in Essex, they did all the hard work for me and got me an appointment within 15 minutes of my call! When I came in for periodic service, their team was excellent and on the spot. They were extremely experienced and very knowledgeable about not only my conversion parts, but also my entire vehicle. They are not simply conversion specialists, like I have experienced at other locations. They did not have the equipment necessary to fix my air conditioner, but called a shop they knew and got me an appointment 3 days from then when everywhere in the Burlington area was booked several months out! I have had only great experiences with everyone there!
Ashley Josh and Todd ty so much. I'm glad I switched up and headed north. From the time we arrived my dad and I felt welcomed. Thank u Josh for taking us right in. Ty Ashley for the test drive and for answering all of our questions. Thanks Todd for the professional service. You as well answered all of our questions and did an amazing job assembling and going over everything. Definitely an awesome team both knowledgeable and professional.
I had a fantastic experience using Mobilityworks for the purchase and installation of hand controls in my vehicle. I am one year out from my spinal cord injury, and this was my first car adaptation. Joshua demonstrated outstanding customer service with his friendly, supportive tone, reliable communication, and rapid organization of the cost proposal and ordering of parts. After my car failed inspection the week of scheduled installation, he quickly reordered new parts for a different vehicle and rescheduled the installation appointment to accommodate both my schedule and that of my driving instructor. My instructor, an experienced Occupational Therapist and Driver’s Rehabilitation Specialist, was impressed with the installation work, citing the mechanic’s experience and efficiency. She was able to request minor adjustments to the controls on the day of my vehicle pick-up, and I left with optimally functioning, high quality controls. I am so grateful for my all-around positive experience with Mobliltyworks and look forward to working with them in the future should the need arise!
I do not have warm feelings about my experience here. Though the product (hand controls in my case) now work as designed, the service I received was particularly unprofessional. They consistently exceeded timelines they set themselves, charged my card weeks after the service was rendered, and in a free checkup two weeks after the install, somehow adjusted the controls so that both brake and gas pedal were engaged simultaneously. Needless to say I have little confidence in their service, and in the case of any major hardware failure I guess I’ll be forced to use a ski pole to drive.
