Nice store, but there is a lady that works in the mornings who loves children and tries... but all she does is creep my child out and makes me uncomfortable. She doesn't seem to have any sense of when she's making someone uncomfortable. I prefer to go at night because she isn't here.
I don't usually post reviews on employees, but today is an exception. I went in the Garden Center doors and 2 employees were talking by the doors going into the store. I was not greeted in any way. I found what I wanted without any assistance. I went to the register and heard one employee tell the other that there was a guest. The employee that was working in the Garden Center came over to the register and didn't even acknowledge me with a smile or even verbally. The item I purchased rang up $1 more than the price on the shelves and I asked about it. I was told the price it ringing up is what is on her phone. I suggested that the price on the shelves might need to be corrected. I still made the purchase but her attitude left a lot to be desired. Fortunately I have had good customer service at the Store in KCKS, but if all the staff acted like this one, I wouldn't be returning.
Gabriel S. in the project center was fantastic. I came into the store and wasn’t really sure what I needed for my project. He walked me through everything and gave me different options and lots of advice. He was VERY knowledgeable about the different materials and I couldn’t be happier with the service! Thank you Gabriel!
I love the 11% rebate deal at menards. we came here for our christmas decorations and easily found what we were looking for. come back during the summer and found what we needed for our lawn care needs
WAS MY FAVORITE PLACE TO SHOP...EVER!!! Until...we ordered custom cabinets for our kitchen remodel. The employee (Justin) put the dimensions in incorrectly, which left us short cabinets. The general manager, Jim Hrivnak, refused to do anything to correct the mistake the employee admitted to making. Told my husband to "fill out a complaint card." I called to speak to the GM, Jim, and he refused to speak to me, putting another manager on the phone who was the rudest person I've ever spoken to.
Corporate won't help out. Other store managers would like to help, but can't because it was the KCK store's mistake.
After spending over $20,000 at Menards for our remodel, they can't bother to fix their mistake. This is the worst customer service ever.
