Moderately priced, basic and rustic ocean side / beach hotel. Room was a sparsely equipped, mostly straw hut on the beach. Very quiet, except for the ocean waves. Very few people around while I was there. Neither guest, nor staff were present in any number. Short walk from the hut to the bathroom / shower hut. Perfect stop for rest and relaxation. A little difficult to find form the road.

Located right on the cerritos beach, this is a beautiful spot. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Knowing that the accommodations were beach huts, I had little to no expectations of amenities or services. I knew there would be a bit of ruggedness involved, and bugs being part of the mix and minimal bathrooms, showers and water use. No problem, being on the beach just steps to the ocean is worth it. However, I did not count on the bed bugs, and water ran out just about every other day. Overall, had a great time.

If you have a late arrival to Los Cabos Intl and its after dark when you arrive to KM 67, expect a difficult time locating the property. Signage is poor. Daytime should not be a problem. You will be instructed to check in at the Hacienda Cerritos, the beautiful hotel on the cliff. But you may not find anyone there at all, especially if you are arriving after dark, even if their stateside communications department is fully aware of your late checkin. Checkin was an offputting process for us. The time between arriving at KM 67 and opening the door to our palapa took 3 hours, after a full day of airline travel. No bueno. A local Gringo massage therapist ended up helping us contact security from Hacienda Cerritos who could contact the groundskeeper at Mayan Village Resort to accommodate us. Had it not been for her we could have spent our first night in Mexico sleeping on a public beach. We were not happy, and stateside administration did nothing to address the situation other than a short email apology for the inconvenience, though I specifically requested a direct phone call. BEDBUGS need to be professionally treated in all palapas. If you are sleeping in the bed then they are present. There are no fitted sheets, just flat sheets that don't reach the end of the mattresses. I would recommend bringing your own sheets for this property. The caretakers during our stay Javier and Daisy were professional and wonderful. They respected boundaries but were not afraid of them and could not have been more sweet and accomodating. Since we were the only guests at the village during our stay getting acquainted with these two was a highlight of our stay. Javier's English is adequate and he is eager to improve, he is a real asset to the operation. Overall, We had a most wonderful time during our six nights at Cerritos beach. The beachfront access was absolutely fantastic, like having our own private beach. We plan on returning to the Todos Santos/Pescadero region, but not the Mayan Village Resort.

Beautiful location and economical. Must be ok with sharing bathrooms/showers and having no hot water. I liked having a rental car to visit other places. My experience here has been great!

I had not been at the hotel, only at the beach. The beach is beautiful, long as no other. You can walk for hours along the beach and enjoy the exquisite sunsets
